I have noticed a strange notion echoing through this sub and just wanted to see if it's actually FDS belief or a perversion of it.

I have seen quite a few times people saying something along the line of "If he is a grown man/HVM/etc he should know/understand how to..." The list generally includes things like courting and pleasuring.

Now, my problem with that statement is that we are all individuals with very specific needs. For example, I love getting flowers, the more the better; There are women who can't stand them. I hate having someone play with my ears; meanwhile there are women who would go nuts for it. The list goes on.

Personally I believe that those things must be communicated openly. Of course, there is always a chance of allowing someone manipulate you by "playing a part". However, we can't expect people just KNOW how to love us as a very specific individual.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.
