Preach, sis. Cutting them off early is sometimes painful, but you’ll look back and wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. No man is ever worth your peace. Once you internalise that message, cutting LVM off becomes a lot easier.

Letting them go hurts SO BADLY and then like... within a day or two of reflection you feel like you finally are able to take a full deep breath and you're like, "Whoa. He was NOT GREAT." And then you take a bubble bath and move on with your life.

I have just done this - deleted all my social media where the LVM could contact me - and woke up this morning with such a calm feeling and happy the ties have been cut. I hope in a few days I wont even be thinking about him.

Yes, my dad told me that it’s easier to be alone than to be with something rotten.

I wish I had listened to him more. Sunk cost fallacy is a real thing...I wasted years with LVM/NVM, just because I was too afraid to leave when I knew I should.

When I left my last 2 exes, it hurt a lot and I cried for a couple days. Then I was fine and...relieved!
