I’ve never went halfsies.

During my pick me days I once paid the full bill.

Just once in my pick me days.

All the other times, the guy insisted paying even if I said I’d get it.

Shit even in my pick me days, only one guy accepted that I can pay. Granted he was broke and drowning in debt. He stressed me out about money so I had to let him go. I was pick me though who let it go in for one month too long!

Plenty of other guys too. Ghosters who’d come back saying they were going through depression.

I told my brother who battles depression and he goes “I am chronically depressed but I would never ghost a person like that. You don’t justify bad treatment of others with mental health”

No I don't MISS getting dolled up, driving over for a date, and then paying for myself 🤡 that's not a date then Notice how they call it "good times" that is not a good time. Honestly when I used to go out with friends we would split the bill during college and the start of our careers, but now even my friends treat me or I just pay for everything and treat them. It's honestly ridiculous society pushes the halfsies bs
