Keep busy and away from your phone. Always reply with shorter texts than him, always leave first. Keep the video chats not too long in duration (1 hr max~) and not too often. Take a couple hours to reply if it’s something low effort unimportant. Make him work for it. - if you want the long term partner/gain. Otherwise- if you in for some short term fun i guess just dial the guidelines down

Work/study, pamper yourself, read, pursue indoors hobbies, talk to your friends, exercise. Those aren't rules per se, but try to concentrate less on guys.

There are no rules. There are standards. YOUR standards. When you're firm in your standards, you won't reveal too much. Women don't need to be mysteries. We need STANDARDS.

Just reply when you can. Don't be hyper-focused on when you replied, how long/short the reply was, if you used emojis or not.

Who cares what that means to him. What matters is what it means to YOU. What are YOU trying to say?

Plus, it's quarantine so seriously chatting with someone you can't meet isn't productive.

There's an amazing book called "not your mother's rules" that outlines the texting strategy perfectly.

It's essentially the same message. Make him wait. Don't instarespond. low-effort messages are ignored. No-effort messages get him ghosted.

I personally reply 30 minutes to an hour later, with almost no exceptions. I might reply sooner than that to correct a typo, but I usually let it go. My sweet spot is taking ~2 - 8 hours to get back to some men. I disappear entirely on the weekends and send no more than 3 messages / day to men. Once in the afternoon, once at/around 6 p.m., and sometimes before bed. Sometimes.
