I often read how important it is that your friends help you vet fuckboys and how you know a guy likes you if he introduces you to his friends.

Now what if I don’t have any close friends, just superficial college and work friends? Because of my awful parents I find it difficult to build trust and close relationships (thanks boomers).

I feel like I should have real close friends first before I can have a boyfriend. Or won’t a guy care if I don’t have any? I used to have one but she was so damn clingy and texted me nonstop so I distanced myself. After I stopped being a pick-me I became very picky about who I spend my time with. Can anyone relate?
