This is a story that my ex told me about his friend.
There was this girl who was head over heels for this guy she was dating and she’d do anything for him despite the fact that he was distant towards her. This one time him and his friends were watching a movie at the theatres. He made plans to see her after the movie but she came thirty minutes early. His friend made the poor girl wait for him. She even texted him that she was here. I was told that she was just sitting there waiting for him.
He asked me what I’d do in that situation and I straight up said dump him. He tried to reason with me saying that it was her fault for coming early and if left it would mean that he’d waste his money. Apparently it was when the show first premiered and it was a Marvel movie. He also stated that she could have done other things in that time since she was at the mall.
I countered and said that his friend is a straight up dick and doesn’t deserve her. She’s going out her way to see him. The least he could do was see her earlier. A movie ticket isn’t expensive and he could have seen it later. It doesn’t matter what he was doing, you don’t keep your woman waiting. Had I been present at the time, I would have ditched these clowns 🤡 and kept her company.
There were other instances where he would treat her in a similar manner he would make things harder for her by cancelling and rescheduling dates, he would make her work around his schedule, and I’ve seen him giver her attitude. She was his play thing. When my ex told me this story, he was so proud of his friend and disgusted with the girl. He was insinuating that she was desperate. It’s been three years since I left my ex (no contact with him and his friends) but I still think about her and wonder if she left her bf. she was one of the good ones of the group.
In reality, I know that he’s the type of guy that would break down and cry like a little bitch if she left him. I know he can’t do better. Both of them work in the same profession. She’s a year younger than him. She was gorgeous, mild-mannered, and generous. She always dressed up to see him with her hair and makeup done. On the the other hand, he was a gamer/comic nerd that lived in sweats. His signature outfit were these navy blue hospital pants and a plain white t-shirt. He hit the jackpot and didn’t realize. It’s hard to find a girl like that!
