So I’m 21, and my HVM is 23 - almost 24 in a couple days. The age gap is 2 and a half years. This hasn’t been a concern at all so far. We met at university - he’s actually in the same academic year as me technically because he spent a lot of time doing internships along with taking a gap year before uni. So, anyways, we’ve been in a serious relationship for nearly a year but we’ve known each other for a year and a half (and his interest has been romantic in me all along, so we were going out on dates during that pre-relationship period). I’m religious about FDS, and you women emphasize formal commitment. I’m a highly desired woman by other men and my bf knows this. I’m brown as well and my family receives proposals (rishtas) for me as well. Now I know you guys also say that it is does not benefit women to get married before 25 so it is my plan to get married after that. But what til then in regards to my current relationship? Should I at least expect an engagement ring? What do you women think?
