Talk to him, you don’t know he likes you or not. Let’s not assume anything towards you, he could just not be in the mood. Just talk, you may be able to help him. You may learn something.

Most likely not a tactic for attention, since he would be more well, aggressive if that were the case. (Aggressively trying to get attention).

Let’s be honest here you like him, and well he’s a question mark. So talk to him to get his interests and go from there.

You're addicted to the thing you can't have, it's not that strange. You've got to prove to this one guy that you are worth it, which is a position I imagine you're not in often.

So either you step over your pride and text him (but not obsessively) or you find something to distract you, such as your favourite hobby. It will wear off over time.
