When trying to vet men, I often use this little thought experiment: how would he act if he was rich and powerful? This may sound too hypothetical, but men often make the answer obvious. For example, my LVX used to say he would cheat on me with a certain famous singer. I told him that was messed up and he said “well it’s not like I would ever meet her anyways”. What this really told me was that IF he was rich and famous and IF he had the opportunity to cheat on me with her, he would do it. Don’t stay with a man who only acts morally due to a lack of opportunity to act immorally! If you suspect that he would be a dirtbag if he were rich and powerful, leave him.
