This guy who I have been talking to forgot it was my birthday today. We have been talking for several weeks. He told me he “liked me” , he took me on a Tahoe trip and payed for everything a week prior. We had a great time. We usually text every day. Anyways, after I reminded him it was my birthday he then wished me a happy birthday , seemed embarrassed. He asked me what my plans were but I was kind of expecting him to do something for me??? He works late usually but still. So that was in the AM I have not replied to his text, left him on read. I have since posted things on social media. I’m sure he knows I’m ignoring him. I will admit I enjoy his company. I learned from this community to treat dating like a hobby, a pass time. Well, recently we both told each other we liked each other. Yes I know , after a couple weeks? Wtf is wrong with me lol and what does he mean by like? I have a habit of cutting men off at the drop of a hat. Literally I feel like never texting him again lmao. But my mom and sis says he made a little mistake let’s see if he makes it up to me. I need him to know it’s going to take more effort to win me over. Yea that trip was amazing but like keep it up? What should I do next at this point? I guarantee he’s going to text me again soon
