Logically I know I just need to let it go. And I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit to my relationship advice friend how I’m still hung up on how this guy hasn’t texted, so here I am.
So last time this guy and I went on a date and I slept over, I told him, in the morning, I was moving out of town. I couldn’t bring myself to tell him it was happening very soon for some reason. Couple days later I told him I was very stressed the day before and the same day of the texts and wanted wine, which is what the edit out pictures are of. He went out with friends and I was doing my own thing too and I was fine with him doing his own thing until he was not responding to my texts in a timely matter, which he always does (plus at the end I was pretty intoxicated). We have been casually dating for 7 weeks now and I am seeing another person and I was suppose to be moving anyway (which long story I’m not).
I probably just have a bruised ego from him not reaching out further because what does it matter to him now that I’m leaving and can’t give him anything (sex, attention) now. I knew I was getting too attached to him even though I know he is not someone I’d want to be in a relationship with. I think I was a bit irrational and I’d like it to have ended it better. Maybe I just miss the attention that he would shower on me. I know I am higher maintenance than he is use to. Someone tell me what to do or say, if anything!
