A few days to about a week ago I posted some pictures about a guy I was talking to. We had previously been into a FwB situation that ended with me not speaking to him at all and 2 months had passed. He later contacted me and wanted to “speak” again, but it was really just to fill his emotionless void that he felt entitled to. We ended our situation because I wanted a relationship and he didn’t. After going through that Fwb’s situation was when I discovered FDS. After him texting me again I posted some of our text messages to gain clarification on whether or not to move forward with this situation. What I wanted was to learn how to move on with a healthy relationship with this person, what my responses were of the exact opposite and it was everyone telling me to leave him. I didn’t understand that wanting to feel “needed” also comes in the form of wanting to make “a situation work” even after you don’t trust the person in question anymore. I didn’t want people to hold my hand, but instead wanted to have a conversation about it. Which was wrong of me to assume that the conversation wasn’t a conversation just because it wasn’t what I WANTED TO HEAR. That’s fucked up of me, because you guys were right, and in the end had my best interest at heart.

In the end he ended up being a fuckboy who just wanted to suck my energy and positivity dry and is now making accusations about me on Facebook for telling him “No.” Yes I did cut him off and I’m proud of it. I didn’t want to talk to him, because I knew it wasn’t going to end well, but I didn’t want to seem disrespectful or “non-agreeable” for not thinking about the possibility of him changing. Which he didn’t and it said it all with no effort and no contact. It was HARD to let go the first time and the second time, I was afraid and upset that he came back. Like I was scared over the fact he came back into my life, because I knew I wanted to tell him “No.” It wasn’t a let me think about this moment. It was an immediate feeling! I don’t have much dating experience, but what I do have is past experiences telling men “No”, over time that secure heart turned into something insecure without understanding that it was insecure in ALL STAGES of dealing with people.

In no way was I trying to be disrespectful toward the women who were giving me real advice, because I definitely felt hurt from the comments because I didn’t want my intentions to be taken into the context of me “defending” him. Idk I just wanted to paint an accurate picture of who I thought he was at the time before he went all “chop sui” on me at the end of it all. It was by no means to hurt anyone and all I wanted to do was to clarify how I should have moved forward from this situation, because everyone is different. I’m sorry towards the FDS community for not being accountable in that moment and not taking some time to consider what you guys were telling. Thank you for having my back and letting me know up front regardless of what I said.
