I think it says alot about religion in that Eve went for the fruit because of her desire for knowledge and that was twisted up as a bad thing.

Does anyone have more info on Lilith? There was a thread on here about her but I haven’t been able to find it. Lilith was before eve and from what I remember got banished because she wouldn’t submit to Adam. I could be misremembering though.

Yeah and she became Satan's bride or some such nonsense. Outside of Christianity calling her a demon, she was sort of like a mother Gaia/destruction and creation goddess kind of like Shiva.

If I remember correctly, God made Adam and Lilith at the same time, a four armed a four legged hermaphrodite. He then split them up for better movement and procreation. She refused to submit ( I think literally "lie under"?) and was banished to roam the earth, cavorting with the devil and becoming mother of all monsters.
Then God made Adam a new wife from a rib, right in front of him, inside to out. Bone to guts to blood to skin. I don't think she had a name, mostly referred to as the "Second Wife" and Adam was too grossed out by watching her be created to even look at her, and it's not clear what happened to her.
Then God put Adam to sleep and used a rib from the other side, and made Eve.
Some people have the Nameless wife after Eve because God was showing off how he made her
