My ex’s mom was creepy like this too! My therapist called it enmeshment and emotional incest. These women basically treat their sons as surrogate husbands 🤮

I’ll talk to my therapist about it too. Their father is absent a lot so it could be the same thing. She babies both of her adult sons and they struggle with relationships, yet my ex had a huge need for a mother and tried to turn me into one for himself. But the point of this is that no women could tolerate my ex except his mother.

I seriously thought this when I saw my XH with a new woman on fb. I didn’t warn her. It took her a couple months to learn and they split.
