I can’t believe my ex situationship partner reached out to me recently and this was his message:

“Wow, I randomly scrolled through some of these old messages and they are from like a different world (time and place). I have a random question when we dated and saw each other once a week. Was that really uncomfortable/distant/ not enough contact for you? I think I was comfortable with it because I am so busy, but after having some other relationships after you, I think other people aren't as comfortable with that.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?”

He literally asked me for my thoughts?!?!! Is this some therapy session to review what went wrong???? I already know what was wrong on my end. You figure yours out!!!

Firstly, we were never in a relationship so he can’t use me as a benchmark for the other girls that he has been trying to ‘seriously’ date after me. We were ‘together’ for about 3-4 years… I know it should have ended much sooner but I was only 18y/o when I first met him didn’t know any better which is why I didn’t leave him sooner but I know now and will NEVER EVER tolerate such shitty behaviour from men.

But it truly shocks me that he is so damn clueless as to why no relationship has ever worked out when he put in such LOW effort and selfish AF. Like you expect any girl to fall in love with you when you text her only once a week because that’s what you’re comfortable with?!?!? UGH AND THEN HE HAD THE AUDACITY to even ask the ex (aka me) why things didn’t work out with the other girls? I am speechless –– can you HONESTLY BE THIS DUMB. Men like him deserve to stay single forever and seek therapy. NOT GIRLFRIENDS OR WIVES.

Nonetheless, I left him on read because I ain’t got time to deal with his shit. He has already done enough damage to me and thankfully I have sorted out my mess (thanks to FDS for changing my life).
