I matched with this guy on Bumble on Thursday. Our conversation was good and he asked for my number. He texts me Friday, and we have another good conversation. I end that conversation early and let him know that he can text me on Saturday. He texts me Saturday morning and we chat for a bit. During the conversation he says that he has plans for the day. At some point, he sends a text that I don’t respond to 1) because I didn’t want to text him all day, and 2) because he had plans and I didn’t want to be texting him while he was out with his friends. This afternoon (Sunday) he texts me asking why I stopped responding to him the day before. I explain my reasons. He says okay and we keep chatting. During this conversation we have the following exchange:

Him: Have you heard of such-and-such restaurant?

Me: I have not.

Him: It’s a new place that looks pretty nice.

Me: Is that right?

Him: Yeah

He then proceeds to change the subject.

He clearly set it up to ask me to dinner at said restaurant, but then he drops the ball. This is our 4th day texting. Where do I go from here?
