At first, I didn't think I was seeing the same thing you were.

She was married to a man who supported her and her children, didn't kick up a fuss when she wanted to live in her own home next door instead of under his roof, or require her to give up her career and ability to earn a living.

Now that they're apart, she won't discuss why, but they apparently co-parent well together, and are still kind and civil to each other, and she's not dependent on him in any way.

She's now in a relationship with a man 22 years younger, however, he was in his 30's when they started dating so it's not like he was still in his formative years and in need of raising.

BUT THEN, you get to the part about Harvey Weinstein where it kind of sounds like she's giving him a pass without wanting to openly say she's giving him a pass. And then the Kenneth Branagh affair was pretty gross also.

After reading the article, I noticed the actress in question came from an already fairly wealthy and connected family.

Yeah, a lot of people are attracted to power, absolutely. However, when it goes pear shaped, the more powerful person is able to more easily control the situation. They have access to better lawyers etc to get the custody arrangement and such they want, if it comes to that.

She worked with the child rapist Roman Polanski in ‘a therapy’ which was a commercial for Prada. No one talks about this. Why anyone would agree to work with him is beyond me... And now she’s saying stuff like this? WEIRD! I feel like she does not care about the rights of women and girls
