I read that sub bc I’m addicted to Other People’s Drama but the men are soooo up their own ass about “choreplay” and how they refuse to participate in chore play.

It’s such a gross attitude. Like, if “choreplay” works, shouldn’t that tell you something? Maybe your wife is exhausted by the imbalance of household responsibilities and she might have the energy for sex if you step up and do a fair share of the work.

It also showcases how men will refuse to step up when their partner needs them but will still feel entitled to sex so their own “needs” (wants) are met.

I was thinking about this the other day: Remember the old joke that sex stops after marriage, and implies the woman doesn’t want to have sex anymore since she already “trapped” him and the deed is done?

The dead bedroom sub scares me so much because the moment you marry you can see that lvms can turn into nvm or possibly hvm to lvm. Makes sense why FDS preaches that you must learn to walk at a moments notice. You can read on this sub that they complain about their fee fees all day but in reality the women loses interest with every lvm move they make i.e they turn into mommy Mc bang maid.

Those of you that have been married can shed more light on this but I’ve experienced this in relationships where they cannot man up or start to show extremely low effort and I completely lose interest in them sexually, they even start to repulse me. And this is when I’m not even living with them or adding any pickmeisha services. I can’t even imagine being hitched to them while cooking,cleaning,taking care of kids and them they expect to be serviced. Just ew.

I remember reading a guy’s complaint that his wife wasn’t putting out. What this man failed to mention was that his wife nearly DIED during childbirth a few weeks before. The wife wrote a rebuttal to his post, and it really exposed his selfishness and depravity. I take anything on that sub with a pinch of salt, because you’re only hearing one side.

there's always a deeper reason why, and usually it's because the relationship has gone to shit in the first place.

r/DeadBedrooms is an interesting sub. A lot of posts come from traditionally misogynistic men who clearly pursued the least sexual woman that came their way... a woman who wasn't even that into sex to begin with and then they act surprised that she's not that into sex after the fact. Many of the women give in to the pressuring and the begging and the pestering and let these men fuck them... and what do they do?? They flock straight to that sub to complain about "duty sex". They complain that "its boring", "lacking passion", etc. No wonder these women refuse to fuck their husbands. Like damn. If you fuck him, he's going to nitpick at the performance... if you don't fuck him, he's going to complain, whine, pester and bitch about it.

A LOT of deadbedrooms are created by the "don't wife up hoes" mentality that men have. Men are avoiding the women who are actually into sex. The sluts. The ones who wanna do wild, spontaneous shit, who keep it interesting, the women who love to fuck and suck are then shamed for their sexuality, and once they decide they're not that into sex, they're shamed by their husbands for not being sexual. Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.

A LOT of the deadbedrooms happen because men don't pull their weight in relationships, ESPECIALLY when it comes to child rearing. Statistics have shown over and over and over again that the lion's share of child-rearing falls on the shoulders of women. Women are doing most of the child rearing, women are doing most of the household work, and a lot of women are also working and going to school on top of this. OF COURSE SHE'S FUCKING EXHAUSTED AT THE END OF THE DAY! I wouldn't fuck him either!
