I'm dating during COVID-19 because I live alone and I work in healthcare, so I'm essential. I am upfront with people I date, stating that I could expose them too potentially. I check to make sure if they're in close contact with their parents or other older members of their family before I meet up.

I think because of COVID-19 though, there are a lot of lonely guys out there who now say they want a relationship.

I downloaded a popular app and I'm astonished at how much attention I'm getting. I always did well on the apps, but this seems like it's on a completely other level.

My usual criteria for going out with someone:

  1. handsome

  2. Respectable, stable job

  3. Seems like a nice, emotionally intelligent person who I can vibe well with

  4. Wants a relationship and does things to indicate that (i.e. wants to take me out to dinner or a fun activity, and tries to get to know me on a deeper level)

Usually I'd come across a guy like this every week or so, but DAMN, I get numerous matches every day with guys who have all 4 of the above.

How do I best take advantage of this but also be strategic and work in my own best interest? I can realistically only date 3 guys at once, and even that may wear me thin.

the other option is just to wait, so that covid loneliness decreases a bit.
