Let's hope that sub is not filled with incels. I may have missed out any misogyny in the sub, but so far I haven't seen any. Generally it talks about the degrading effects of porn on the body and just dangers of porn in general.

I would extend this to women as well. I don't think it's as hard for women, though. People give too much mental real estate to sex. It's just sex. Calm down. Giving it power over your life is the quickest way to develop unhealthy obsessions with and about it.

Portrayal of sex and normalization of porn in our lives, in addition to how TV portrays relationships as sugar sweet times. Often people don't realize this but they feel a self inflicted pressure to date and have sex, hence a lot of women date LVMs.

Tbh I think it's got something to d I with how much porn and sex has been normalized. The idea that "you're supposed to have sex during college"/"before marriage" is what consumes most people. Before finding FDS I felt that I really wanted to get into relationships and do cutesy things with partners because I felt like everyone around me was finding their partners. But now I feel like majority of the women around me are pick mes....

that's a big part of it. Our media glamorizes relationships. One thing that helps me is the realization that most of my female ancestors had no choice in what they did. They were tied to men, like it or not. Now, I have that choice. I can do what I want to do and I owe to all of those who came before me to stand strong in what I desire for my life.
