I (23f) have been chatting with a guy (31m) for a little bit now and has asked me to meet him next weekend. We've spoke a bit about how we're both quite introverted and I specifically am quite shy and like my own company.

When I asked him earlier what were doing he suggested watching some movies and a couple drinks where he'll be staying (we don't live close). I obviously got a vibe about this and made it very clear that nothing "like that" will be happening. He very quickly apologised and said to meet somewhere else instead and that was a stupid idea, and that he thought I'd prefer that because I love films and we're both not "people" people.

He owns his own home, has a car, a decent job is creative, complimentary and very interesting. So I'm not sure if this is something I should write him off for.
