True story

Back last spring, I was talking to a guy who I met on tinder. Im currently in college going for my BS in cyber security. The guy i was talking to holds a GED, but Im not shitty to the point I won't date someone for that reason. Anyways, we met up, had sex and by the time it was late summer, he started to get less flirty and wouldn't message me back for a few days. He told me he had started a truck driving job and because of that he couldn't respond because of it. I give second chances, and guess what, he did it again! If he couldnt make time for me he is not worth my time.

Maybe he saw my intelligence as a threat.

Well, that’s reassuring....

On a more serious note though, I really think that this phenomenon is the result of unresolved issues, trauma that an individual carries into her adult life. That’s why self awareness and therapy are immensely important.

Even if one thinks that they don’t need it, they should try to get some just to be given the tools by a trained third party to analyse their own thinking processes.
