Just my experience but you really don’t find many quality men in bars or clubs. Most of them are busy hustling or will be with a mixed group of friends and not really looking to hook up. Very few of them have the leisure time to spend looking for women at bars and will be maximizing any spare time for their social obligations or be going on actual dates. More likely to find them at social events and mixers IME, and don’t rule out more “quality” dating apps in urban centers.

This is a great question -- people have told me to look at high-end events and mixers but I don't think I know what counts as high-end or what differentiates these things from just going to a bar.

In my experience, most men are too stupid to know how to flirt at work-related networking events without creating some reputational risk for themselves as harassing women who are simply engaged in career-related socializing. And they know it, so they hang back now and seem to engage in less flirting at work-related stuff than they used to? Seems that way. So I think you're right to try, but I'd keep expectations super low. In contrast, finding the right volunteer opportunity or even a non-hookup bar/lounge may be ideal?

I’m in my twenties too, I also quit apps so its usually bars/lounges/clubs and parties for me, I live in a big city so everyone (meaning all different type of men) party/go out. The BEST way though imo is mutual friends/house parties, any time a male friend of mine who works at a top Fortune 500 or a quality guy one of my friends are dating is having a event, gathering, birthday/Christmas party, friendsgiving, I make sure I get cute as fuck and show up to meet their also successful coworkers or friends they went to school with.

At a diff point in my life I used to go to a 5 star steakhouse/very upscale restaurant after work for happy hour and at least one guy would always strike up a conversation, offer to pay for my meal and ask for my number. These guys were typically older and always seemed to be looking for a SD type situation so I stopped that.

I know a lot of people say parties clubs/bars/lounges not the best way to find someone but, depending where you live, I feel it’s where most eligible men around your age would be. Just remember you’re not looking for the guys hanging by the bar clearly hunting for a girl to take home. Once these stock guys invited my friends and I to their section, I wasn’t feeling any of them but, my friend ended up dating one of them for quite a while and he took her to Turks and Caicos and Ibiza. You never know who you’ll meet wherever.
