I just had the best weekend with the new boyfriend. It’s been about 2 months, and we went up to the mountains and stayed in a cute little lodge for the weekend. I took a bunch of pics, and texted him and asked if it was ok to tag him in them. I was 95% expecting a “sure babe” answer, but was totally floored when he said this: “Not yet, please, i am not yet ready to deal with my ex. I really did have the best weekend, just like being with you.”

We’ve been officially exclusive for about a month. We’ve liked each other’s posts for a while too. This is new territory for me, dating in general after a 15 year marriage, but also the first guy I’ve dated with kids (he has 3, and I’ve met them). Do I worry now? Do I worry if he hasn’t figured this out by a certain point? I just want to love him and tell the world but apparently it has to be complicated. Opinions please and thank you.
