Okay so I don't usually go throwing the word around, but this is pretty fucking badass. What a great woman to call for help with one hand and shoot the shooters with the other.

I hope her and her daughter recover physically and mentally from this. Clearly she handled it well, but that's a terrifying situation.

Yeah, she’s totally badass, but she was also targeted because she was a woman who dared to work, and dared to work as a police officer. This is the world we live in. I still get mad when reading articles like this.
