I'm on a break from OLD but when I was on it, my rule was ask me out within a week (for a date the following week). Not here for pen pals or time wasters.

I found guys that didn’t ask me out with the first week would never do it. So I give it a week unless they state they went out of town..but I still expect expression of interest to go out when they return, within a week of matching.

I give them 24 / 48 hours from match (depending on how good looking they are I may give them 48 hours but most of them get 24 hours). If they haven’t initiated conversation at least / asked me out by then I remove them from my matches.
