Believe it or not, I've heard men say they want to spoil their wives and actually enjoy it!

LVM won't believe it because if they acknowledge that those men exist, they'll be forced to actually try. They want to pretend those men aren't real so they aren't outed as the LVM they are.

And btw, spoiling doesn't always mean spending money and buying gifts. Words and actions are also ways to spoil someone.

Just another way of not being treated like an equal/partner tbh. I feel like this mentality leads to choosing sexist guys who are a lil dumb and incapable of genuinely loving a woman/want someone to show off that they’ll drop at the first sign of someone hotter.
