I decided to finally write a post about one of the highest value men I know. He’s my brother-in-law. He’s been married to my sister for 5 years now and they’ve been together for just over 10. They met when they were both at college. I can confidently call this man high value, because he has CONSISTENTLY demonstrated high value behaviour, not just towards my sister, but also to me and the rest of my family. Below are some of examples of his HV behaviour:

When he first started dating my sister, he would rent a car to come and see her AND pay for the date. Sometime I would go with them and he would pay for me as well.

When my sister was looking for a car, he would rent a car and drive her to view different cars.

When my sister fancied onion rings at this fancy restaurant, he rented a car in the middle of the night and drove her there. This was when he was still in college and wasn’t working.

He stayed with my sister when she had a severe mental breakdown less than a year into their relationship.

He’s never made my sister feel bad for gaining weight during their relationship. Her weight gain came as a result of her anti-psychotic medication. In fact, he still treats her like a Queen.

When I went to a concert that was in his city, he picked me up afterwards and made sure I was okay.

When I was choosing colleges, he came to view so many with me because he knew that my parents have limited mobility.

Whenever my family hosts a party, he always helps out practically both before and after the event.

He’s ambitious and hard-working, and is currently working towards an extremely difficult qualification that will improve his earning potential exponentially whilst being a fantastic husband to my sister.

He doesn’t watch porn.

Laughs at the stories about low value men on FDS and isn’t threatened/offended by what we say because he knows it doesn’t apply to him.

These are just a few examples from the time I’ve known him. Whilst I think men like my brother-in-law are a rare breed, they do exist. And honestly, he’s set the bar very high for how men should behave towards women. Don’t let low value men tell you that your standards are too high. If a COLLEGE student can go out of his way to impress his future wife, then the rest of them have absolutely no excuse.
