I was a feminist and almost a man-hater even growing up. I was around 8 or 9, prepubescent, and I still realized that guys get away with much more in this world that we do. Sad.

Probably when I was in elementary school and my mother had to fight my headmaster that I should be able to join a "Karate club". I was always way taller than the other kids. So obviously alot of boys tried to bully me, even physically fighting me and stuff. I got into trouble for hitting them back harder than they hit me. So my "bulies" all were in this Karate club and I wanted to join, because I was always into fighting and martial arts and all that. My headmaster tho wasn't into that idea, because "I would use it to beat up the little innocent boys". My mother and another female teacher were about to go to the higher-ups, so the headmaster gave in. My first encounter with the unfairness of being female in a world that wants to protect violent males. From that moment on I refused to let males tell me what to do. I was 7.

Ive always been a feminist which taught me to love myself and not tie my self worth to sex or being in a relationship with a guy. my dad had a talk with me also in my early teens how men are only interested in sex so I should really vet them through their pattern of behavior. I did try to be the cool girl when I was 19 and went out with a 21 yo fuckboy but I realized immediately that having sex/being nice did not get me a relationship that I wanted. my dad ,of course, was right all along. I wanted to be in a serious relationship so I knew i had to change strategies and employed FDS techniques early on. that was a decade ago and I'm in my early 30s now happily married to a HVM.

University (currently still in) basically right after leaving my first relationship and actually dating different men did I truly know how they operate. And I’m still learning everyday. It’s a shame we even have to unionize like this against their tactics, but we will.

When I started googling his weird patterns of behavior and then realized that there were entire websites and support forums about said set of behaviors. And so many stories I read I could swear were about my ex, almost to the finest detail. It was eerie. I still wonder whether men are actually individuals, or just clones.
