Excuse the title, figured itd be an easy way to spark conversation. Any-whoo, Im posting this, w attatched link, moreso as a reminder of why the issue of pornography addiction is one of the most underaddressed/socially damaging/misunderstood issues that exist today.

The clip below is a quick several min excerpt from the very last interview w serial killer Ted Bundy, held several hours before his execution. I studied him alot in undergrad, but for some reason the nugget of information he shares in this clip was never really explored, and you never hear people talk about the connections he made in this part of the interview. After seeing this two points really struck me:

-this man admittedly killed and sexually assulted numerous women, many were never found. His killings began right at a time when womens liberation and feminism was finally gaining momentum. Was his killing spree a “male response to feminism?” All his victims were young, and very pretty.

-being that he made these statements hours before his execution (no reason to lie) , why werent the things he said taken seriously. Why werent more studies done to link pornography and violent crime? whose protecting the industry?

I know this isnt directly related to dating, but i think its good for everone, especially women, to understand why porn is so much more than a “pleasurable passtime” for men, and is a serious red flag.

DISCLAIMER: Im in no way insinuating that all males who watch porn are serial killers. I am saying, that 9 times out of 10, serial killers who prey on and sexually assult women, have a deep connection to porn. (if unable to view, search for other links w similar title or sign into YouTube.)
