He sounds bitter because he considers himself invisible, hoped he's finally have his chance to shine when women get older, let themselves go and lower their standards. Now he's annoyed to find out that's not happening and he's still invisible.

I've dated a couple guys who flat out said they know they're privileged because they are male, tall and handsome. They're used to turning heads, used to being successful, not remotely insecure, threatened by or annoyed with attractive women who take pride in themselves and in fact prefer them.

Of course society pressures women to look a certain way, just like society pressures men to be successful. But his observations and struggles to be attractive and visible to women are not universal... He's speaking about himself and his frustration with his own personal issues.

Oof is unpopular opinion a place where men go to whine and blame women about dumb shit? I mean seriously this coupled with the last post is just men whining about their supposed situation. Like they’re not the ones who invented being beautiful is one of the most important thing for a women.....It’s almost like you can feel the bitterness floating off the screen. The only privilege being attracted versus being unattractive when I was younger is that guys want to fuck me. I’ve had 0 guys “swoop in” and save me from the real issues I’ve got going on in my life.

Someone tried to claim that yahoo said women peak at 18 while men peak at 50. That's hilarious.

Someone else put it best when they said:

"Men do not look most attractive at 50. If you make a woman choose between the same guy at 25, 35 or 50 they'll pick the one closest to their age if they are under 40 and 35 if they are over 40. As men age they go bald, get wrinkles, get a beer gut etc. That's not attractive."

The amount of men there that ACTUALLY believe women think 50 yo men are the most attractive is gold. They think their is a biological basis for finding 18 y/o women attractive... but where is that biological basis for 50 y/o men? for most of history a 50 year old man could only be found rotting underground lmao.

lmao guys on reddit are insane. The way their hate and frustration manifests towards attractive, young women who won't fuck them is truly a sight to see.

They relish in the idea that the hot girls who ignored and looked through them in their 20s will some day crash and burn. So much so that they've also tricked themselves into believing that when this happens, it will suddenly be theirrr time to shine. Lmao it's just sad..

All of them think they're going to be in the 5% of rich and attractive men who date young women when they get older but... the numbers ain't adding up gentleman.

In the real world, an attractive woman who takes good care of herself will be benefiting from her looks well into her 40-50s. Yes some men will look great as they age too but the vast majority (especially the socially stunted, lazy, out of shape average redditor) will hit the wall like a truck.

I'm old. No matter what age you are, you really don't want the old guys who are looking to add a bit of "My Sharona" to their life Those guys have issues and your life's too short and precious to deal with those issues. Being chased after by those guys is not a privilege, it is a hazard. Losing their attention is one of the best things about being old.
