This was years ago when I was still single and looking for love... or at least a date. I was about 25 and using OLD.

My profile was saved by Anthony, a man who was in his mid-late forties and about ten years older than the maximum age I'd listed as my preference. (WHY do men do that? Can they not read?)

He'd initiate chats with me through the site and I'd respond politely instead of telling him straight up that I wasn't interested. (Ugh, female socialization. Always be polite. Never express your lack of interest unless he asks.)

He invited me to attend a football game with him. Now, my interest in football was less than zero. I told him football wasn't my thing and I didn't want to spend my time at a football game. He began pressuring me to go anyway, and said that if I went on the date he wanted, then I could choose what we did for our second date. Say what?

(Needless to say, we never even got to the first date, let alone the second.)
