Sounds like they were both virgins who had learned about sex through porn. Now that she’s realized that the porn ideal isn’t actually… humanizing she’s coming to her senses (slowly but still). Hopefully she leaves him for someone who sees her as a person.

I love how all of mens trouble are the fault of the patriarchy that they invented and continue to support. Yet they refuse to see that? Like okay weirdos. You literally invented the system and are still mad at it lol.

Okay, socially I’m not sure what you should do (although definitely teach your kids about stranger danger and encourage them to keep being honest with you!) but legally I think you need to get a lawyer involved. Plenty of people get it in writing that the other parent is not allowed to bring random without their consent. The fact that he’s hiding her and not telling you when she’s gonna be around your kids is so alarming to me.

I think you should encourage her to analyze the things that made her uncomfortable. Why do these things make her uncomfortable? Are they things that would push her out of her comfort zone in a good way (like she’s shy and this will make her socialize more), or are they things she’s deeply/morally uncomfortable with? I think answering those questions will help her figure out what to do.

He has such “frat guy energy”. Notice how he’s CONSTANTLY asking for compliments. He’s also constantly throwing “jokes” at people but the moment people joke about him he gets all defensive.

It should be a crime to waste a catholic wedding like this! I’m actually surprised the priest went along with it, they’re allowed to refuse to do the wedding if they feel like the bride or groom aren’t taking it serious

I think if you’re just a few months into the relationship it’s practical to give him something small but useful that you know he’ll like and a card. It’s sweet but not too much and doesn’t require much effort.

I’ve encountered at least one guy (off the top of my head) who got mad at me for holding the door for him? Keep in mind this was a complete stranger, I was just doing the polite thing and he snapped at me that I “shouldn’t have done that” as he was about to walk through. I still regret not slamming the door in his stupid face.

Wait. Was this on the AH sub? Because if you’re referring to the one I’m thinking about then OMG. That’s why he was using a baby voice??? I need to find the update! Edit: I found the update (shout out to google). And omg. It really was all a bet for a fucking baseball. Plus the sub moderators wouldn’t let her post an update unless she sent them videos the husband had secretly taken to prove he was following the rules of the bet. This really upsets me because it seems like he gave her this dog in a sort of “a kid would be so much easier so let’s just get one of those and ditch the dog” type of way. It’s so fucked up to use a living being in a manipulation tactic - especially since I’m assuming the end goal was to get rid of the dog (after all, she’s struggling with the dog and already has 2 kids, how is she supposed to handle another baby on top of all that?) I doubt her bf helps with the anything. Also I realized as I w…

It’s essentially what the OP of this post said. Another example would be to make up a fake insecurity like “I don’t like my nose “ and then see if he uses that against you. Example : he starts negging you about your nose, comparing it to other women’s noses ect

I don’t think you’re being overly paranoid at all! There was twitter thread a few months back where a women was talking about how someone tried to break into her room and the hotel staff tried to pretend nothing happened. After checking reviews she saw it was a common occurrence and that sex trafficking was high in that area. Being as safe as possible is always a good thing! And you’re advice is really good!

To add to your list of body parts to target - a hearty punch in the throat should allow you enough time to make a run for it. Most people don’t expect it and it knocks the wind out of them.

Drop her. But before you do message her girlfriend, send her screenshots of the flirty tweets and song lyrics. If you have texts from her saying she’s gonna dump her send those too. Also tell her the backstory of her relationship with these “friends” because I doubt she actually told her.

Steve Harvey is low value but he’s the kind that admits stuff we know on FDS. Like he’s talked about how men are only friends with women because they wanna sleep with them and how men know right away if they actually wanna date a woman. Weird guy

I think you’re over thinking it. As someone who has anxiety it’s a trait I can identify with so I’m not judging you. Still… not everything has to do with men. Every time a woman puts on mascara or gets her nails done it isn’t because she’s seeking male validation. Sometimes people just wanna do stuff because they want to! If you don’t wanna do that kind of stuff then don’t! But don’t shame people who do. Also, stop sitting around grappling with this. If we all sat around thinking about ALL the t…

Honestly never underestimate thrift shopping - you can find some real gems! And remember the phrase “quality over quantity” get classic staples that you can use throughout the years. Ah so he moved in with her thinking he could take advantage of her (because he assumed she was some kind clueless girl) and then she pulled out the uno reverse card and showed she’s just like him. Now he’s mad he’s stuck with someone who treats him the way he wanted to treat her. Sucks to suck.

A lot of people in the comments are like “oh they’ve only been together 2 years? Bet they won’t last!” As if though the guys whose been stringing his gf along for 7 years is the better guy.

That’s my general understanding of it as well. But I assume this is more of a mental situation. Like “well whose going to want me know except him”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/12/21 05:55 PM

Stockholm syndrome exists as a form of survival. If the victim can’t escape their situation they have to find a way to make it okay in order to continue being mentally “okay”. I’m not saying this is the exact situation here since she can physically leave- but I don’t think she realizes that.

I mean… people who wait until marriage do exist. Just because society expects men to do whatever it takes to have sex doesn’t mean that they actually do. My point here is that you don’t really know why he’s a virgin and that is where the answer to this being a red/green flag is. Although if him being a virgin makes you uncomfortable then maybe you should just pass and find someone else.

Wow, talk about an insiders view! For some reason the most shocking thing to me is that apparently when you click those “sexy singles near you” pop ups it actually takes you to a website instead of just giving your computer a virus. The rest checks out with how gross all those websites are. It also made me think of David and Lana from 90 day fiancé. I haven’t experienced abuse from a pick me but I know what your talking about. I’ve noticed they tend to pickup whatever “personality” traits their LVM have. A former friend of mine has devoted herself to essentially being her bfs mini-me. She now shares the exact same taste in music, shares all his political beliefs, and at one point she was even dressing in the “girl” version of his outfits. It’s honestly disturbing. I honestly wouldn’t mind changing my last name if I had a bland one; like smith (no offense to any smiths out there). But I already have two last names (in my country we hyphenate) and they’re both really pretty so I’m keeping both and there’s no way I’m tacking on a third one!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/12/21 11:45 PM

Not the person you replied to but hyphenated names are the norm in my country and I think it’s the simplest solution

I mean I think it’s kinda weird you expected to have the brides attention on her wedding day (it’s kinda of a busy day) so the wedding thing alone isn’t bad. However, the fact that she’s been blowing you off for so long is a good indication that you should just drop her. I would see what she wants to talk about, just to make sure she’s not in danger but if she’s just calling to complain or whatever you should just ghost her.

Catherine the Great. Granted she does have “great” in her title so she wasn’t done as dirty as some of the women in this thread, but still. She did so many great things for Russia, including educating girls (noble girls only, but hey, you do what you can with the time period). She was a true leader who had the respect and loyalty of the men around her. Just a heads up that the handbook doesn’t say plus size women shouldn’t be dating. The handbook says you shouldn’t date until you’re confident with yourself and that you should always strive to improve. In the case of the show Annie definitely shouldn’t be dating anyone, she has such low self esteem and that’s why she dates such a LVM. And while I hate to say it, Annie honestly isn’t a HVW. Not just because of her self esteem but because of a lot of her character traits. She’s pretty selfish. Al…

I wish I had an award to give you because YES!!! I’ve also been poor and you know what, it’s awful. Money makes life better!!! Why would I be with a man who chooses to be a bum? Men in my country will work any job (even selling oranges on the street) if it means being able to put food on the table. Yet modern society wants women to settle for freeloaders who won’t get jobs? I don’t think so.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/11/21 11:30 PM

The amount of times I have seen (on a certain subreddit) something along the lines of “I buy my boyfriend gifts worth hundreds of dollars year round but he doesn’t believe in the gift industry so he doesn’t get me anything back, am I allowed to be mad?”. It honestly makes me want to cry for those women!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/11/21 11:24 PM

I’m not bashing thriftiness. Just because I like the nicer things in life doesn’t mean I’m not willing to budget. There’s a difference between being conservative with money and being down right cheap. Buying someone a $5 engagement ring is just cheap and it’s not even practical. Plus I’m assuming you don’t go around telling men that you’d be great full even for a shoe string as an engagement ring? And yes that’s literally something I’ve seen someone be proposed with.

While that was the original definition the word “gold digger” is now thrown around at any women who expects, well, pretty much anything. If you expect for a man to pay for dinner you’ll be labeled a gold digger.

I agree with everyone’s advice here but I want to throw something else in: You need to work on your self esteem. You should not be entering the dating world with a “I’m easily replaceable” mindset. No one wants to be with someone whose insecure and you shouldn’t be looking at other women as competition.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/11/21 09:59 PM

In all honesty you shouldn’t have even asked him to change. You should have just dropped him. Don’t go around begging men to be better! You also shouldn’t have kept responding to his messages or explaining yourself. Next time you notice a man being misogynistic and pornsick just stop talking to him.

The rule in FDS is to keep a roster until you have the conversation and officially make it official. I don’t see why we shouldn’t expect HVM to do the same. I’d personally feel like a hypocrite. Especially since you two have only gone out on one date. However I agree with the commenter before me that after roughly a month both people should know if the relationship is going anywhere or not.

I mean… when I was in college I would sometimes go do laundry at my moms house. It’s free and you don’t have to be hovering around the laundry room in case someone steals your stuff or takes it out of the machine so they can take your wash. (Can you tell I’m an anxious person?) The best way to keep a man is to flip the script and oppress them for centuries since the beginning of civilization. Also something about them making us sandwiches?? Edit: I’m glad so many of you are on board with my elaborate plan to get sandwiches!!! Mwahahaha

Children can tell when their parents aren’t happy with each other. They internalize it and are very likely to pursue relationships that are just as bad if not worse. For the sake of your children (and yourself) you need to leave. Stop being a cautionary tale and take charge of your life

I think they briefly dated years ago and then they reunited like, 3 months after he was seen with his ex again and that’s when he proposed. Then they wonder why their marriage is hard.

Didn’t she say something about how she felt she was giving away her life (bodily autonomy?) or something else along those lines by getting pregnant? I honestly don’t think that’s a healthy way to look at having children. Like I’m child free because I would see it the same way. Edit. Btw I’m not saying that’s what she said in the post you linked but I think she said it before

I think you can disagree with a particular action but respect the people doing it. So like you, I don’t agree with sex work but still respect sex workers. It’s not their fault, their just doing their best to survive in a messed up economic structure.

Ah the not so subtle-subtle backhanded “compliment” that are really just there to tear you down. I would like to hop on the part where they mention that most sex workers are forced into it through trafficking or simply don’t want to do it. Because that’s a very important part that is often glossed over. Libfems always talk about the sex worker who LOVES her job and finds it empowering (🙄). So, a man and a women having consensual sex is wrong? If you don’t want to have sex that’s fine but don’t act like everyone else who does it is inherently wrong. That’s such a weird thing to hate.

Yeah, it does sound incredibly anti-choice. While I agree with the standard point of men not getting to decide if the women gets to keep the baby or not, I highly disagree with shaming people for having consensual sex. Are people who don’t use birth control when they don’t wanna get pregnant dumb? Absolutely! But literally everything you said is what anti-choice people say, they just flip it on women. (Not to mention that birth control can fail but that’s an aside). Instead of shaming people for…

Hard disagree on “tightening up abortion laws” that’s dictating the rights someone has to choose what to do with their own bodies. Women have already suffered through that through out all of history, why would you want to go back to that? We don’t get to decided what a “valid” reason for wanting an abortion is. If someone wants one simply because they don’t want a child that’s valid.

FDS is literally about weaving out LVM and not putting up with their bull. It’s also about being HV ourselves. This means recognizing when other women mess up (as well as ourselves). I feel bad for iggy but at the end of the day she chose to have a baby with him, he’s never had a great reputation and is acting the way he always had. The only real victim here is the child.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/12/20 09:05 PM

Idk why your being downvoted for implementing FDS ideals. We literally focus on finding the right partner and weaving out the LVM and NVM. Iggy didn’t do that, I feel bad for her but I doubt this man was able to ever mascaraed as high value. She knew who he was when she planned to have a baby with him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/12/20 09:01 PM

Homemade gifts, if truly thoughtful, can be amazing! A friend of mine made me a needle point picture last Christmas. It simple and fits my aesthetic perfectly and is currently hanging in my apartment. She put thought into it and what’s more, she made it to fit my taste. But the guy in the OP doesn’t care, there’s no effort and it’s clearly not made with the OP in mind. And on top of all of it he want expensive gifts, talk about balls

On top of all this can we also talk about the fact that he apparently took the necklace back after his break up with his ex. That’s so tacky to me. I recognize she may have given it back but with his attitude towards gift giving I doubt it, and even if she did there’s no reason he should still have it. So gross, I also doubt he’d be laughing if the OP only gave him gift cards from now on

Sadly she doesn’t realize she’s a place holder. Thankfully people in the comments are trying to talk some sense into her
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/11/20 09:53 PM

Omg not only do I know which one you’re talking about but there are others like it that I can recall!! That is so gross to me, like it’s clearly that they just view those as disposable relationships! I don’t know what kind of heartless jerk it takes to do that tbh. If I had the money to help someone close to me I would
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/11/20 09:52 PM

Exactly. The fact that he never pays for her shows he’s not truly invested, why waste money on her when he’s just waiting for the one he actually wants to be with to show up? When the relationship ends he’s didn’t lose anything, not even money.

She’s talented but I don’t find her to be a mind blowing talent, and yes, she’s a pick me by fds standards.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/11/20 10:47 PM

Girl. Stop engaging with men like this, you’re just playing into their games. There’s no room for politeness with these types, just block and move on
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/11/20 10:36 PM
16

I’m childfree too, and it’s stories like this that make me think “Yup, if I ever get pregnant I’m definitely not telling the father and just getting an abortion”. Because frankly, I’m gonna get an abortion regardless so I can at least not waste the time where they try to convince me otherwise.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/10/20 02:16 PM

I hope (if this is real, which it isn’t) that she’s just waiting for him to croak so she can get all his money.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/10/20 09:39 PM

I wasn’t aware that I had made the claim that all pickmes could be reformed? I also wasn’t aware that I had put all of a mans blame on women? But okay lol. I guess when people are being shitty we should just give them a pass
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/10/20 07:38 PM

The problem is that that 16 year old grow can grow up to be a pickme, particularly one of the very dangerous ones who help men do bad stuff to other women
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/10/20 06:37 PM

The only part that I didn’t like in this post is that she told the ex everything. She should have ghosted him because now not only will he hide the behavior better from the next girl but he’ll tell her stories of how crazy his ex’s are and he might retaliate against the ex who has proof.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/10/20 03:52 AM

Or philosophy because it makes them feel #deep

It was on a twitter thread (at least that’s where I saw it) I’m on mobile so Idk how to link but I actually posted the twitter thread on here a while ago, you can find it in my posted history.

I once read about a girl who took her date to Mickey d’s (he insisted) he ordered a ton of food (she paid) and then he asked her to take him to his apartment real quick to get something, he went in and just... never came back out. I think about that story often.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/10/20 02:23 AM

I’m confused, did she know about the vasectomy? If so why did she stay?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/10/20 04:45 PM
54

You’re being logical. Men like that don’t wanna use logic - unless it’s to make us seem too “emotional”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/10/20 05:32 PM
13

I think they’re asking because it would have been even worse if he kept your pay
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/10/20 03:31 PM
7

Yes definitely listen to yourself! For some reason your conscious is telling you this person isn’t good news. Good luck!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/10/20 04:03 PM
43

I like how instead of him asking her what he can do to improve her sexual experience he’s like “omg how can I trust her now?? My EgO!!”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/10/20 04:24 PM
19

He respond with a “okay love you “ she’s probably over the moon right now
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/10/20 08:39 PM
14

Yeah I don’t know why it’s so hard for some people to just take time to be single and work on themselves, because she desperately needs to work on her self esteem
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/10/20 07:49 PM
50

Exactly. She clearly has low expectations so there’s nothing for these guys to even pretend to wanna meet. They know she’ll say yes regardless
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/10/20 05:47 PM
99

Bold of you to assume he’d marry her. She’s got forever girlfriend vibes
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/10/20 10:39 PM
16

Honestly you should change your number, this woman is incredibly obsessed with you and insecure, she’s not gonna leave you alone but that’s not your problem. I think you should also look into a restraining order (save all the texts and everything)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/20 03:44 AM
121

Honestly Delilah seems as bad as OP. Hopefully the gf finds someone who genuinely cares about her
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/09/20 04:33 AM
28

Move on to the next
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/09/20 03:28 AM

I think by “proposed” he means “asked out”. I think he’s from a country where English isn’t the primary language
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/20 02:06 PM
42

Good luck escaping with your dog OP. Hopefully you have family near you. Btw I would recommend either ghosting entirely or having people you trust when you tell him you’re leaving (and leave right after)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 06:09 PM
43

“Hoping that if she’s polite enough you’ll leave her alone and stop harassing her “
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/09/20 03:01 PM
15

This is so true. When I stopped being a pickmes sounding board my life improved so much, toxic people will emotionally drain you and for what? So she can keep chasing shit men? Trying to help someone who doesn’t really want it is pointless
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/09/20 01:17 AM
3

You joke, but I’ve heard of men who don’t. 🤮
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/09/20 01:14 AM
92

It’s a fact that a man who isn’t interested in you will ask to split the bill or pay for the whole thing. A man trying to impress you would be ashamed to ask.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/08/20 10:42 PM
24

I haven’t always gone out with HVM but even the ones who turned out to be jerks paid for every date. Only a man who is straight no value will ask you to split it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/08/20 01:44 AM
142

OP I’m not sure if you’re the one who downvoted u/socalqueenofcheese ‘s comment or if someone else did but she’s right. You got WAY to into this guy after only a few days of texting, one phone call, and one date. Even if he genuinely was looking for monogamy something tells me (by his response) that he sensed how attached you were getting right away and no one wants that after one date. Remember that FDS advises that you keep your options open and keep seeing other guys until things are official…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/08/20 04:54 AM
11

For all her talk about supporting other women she’s never had a problem criticizing other women for the tiniest of things and saying they’re not “woke enough”. She’s pretentious.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/08/20 03:52 AM
24

Yeah like that’s creepy unless the poster gives some context that makes it okay
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/08/20 03:06 AM
57

Yeah I read some where that they’re relationship has improved in quarantine because there’s no other women around and his friends aren’t there to be a “bad influence”. Lol he’s gonna cheat on her as soon as restrictions are lifted. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was secretly texting someone right now
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/08/20 08:27 PM
16

I doubt she has a boyfriend tbh. This is next level attention seeking from men. She’s probably never been picked
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/08/20 04:25 PM
13

You know you can just... leave right? I’m not trying to sound sassy because I know we’re taught to be polite and just wait out things like bad dates but walking away is 100% an option. Men have no problem walking away from a situation that doesn’t suit them and neither should we. In the middle of these dates you can make up an excuse or simply state “hey I’m not feeling this I gotta go” although obviously that might be dangerous. I suggest you simply say “hey I promised to meet a friend at (a ce…

Imagine confessing to the world that you can’t feed yourself. Embarrassing.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/08/20 06:57 PM

On top of this pickmes can be dangerous as hell. There are pickmes who will kill or turn a blind eye to terrible crimes just to get even the slightest praise from a man. Pickmes and LVM attract each other more often then not.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/08/20 05:47 PM

Did your dad try to excuse him after that?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/08/20 03:32 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/08/20 03:31 PM

Agreed. I personally do like cleaning but I get angry if things start getting cluttered. This would cause me to have a meltdown so I doubt she would actually “love” having to be around that mess
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/08/20 02:43 AM
72

This. I don’t want children and neither does my boyfriend but honestly I don’t think I’d tell him if I got pregnant. I wouldn’t want to risk him getting all emotional over it. I’d just get an abortion and move on
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/08/20 02:36 AM

With men like this is just like to clap back with “and it’s biological for women to seek out the best provider so get the fuck away from me if you’re not rich” Oddly enough they don’t seem to understand the biology then 🤷🏼‍♀️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/08/20 11:03 PM

He only sent one?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/07/20 02:38 AM

I think this is more about emotionally tricking someone (like making a girl fall in love but all he wanted to do was get in her pants)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/07/20 02:35 PM
3

NVM have no sense of shame
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/07/20 02:33 PM

Personally I think you should block him. If he feels so passionately about threatening you he’ll find a way. Although make sure to let people know what happened and to keep an eye out for you. That way if he tries anything there will be people who can back you up
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/07/20 05:40 AM
8

Could very well be both.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/07/20 03:39 AM
10

Honestly I think just the fact that you’re feeling insecure here should tell you all you need to know. Do you want to be in a relationship with someone who you’re always feeling insecure and jealous over? On top of that it sounds like he would not hesitate trying to get with her if he were single (heck, even if he is in a relationship he might try it) you don’t need that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/07/20 03:34 AM

I think he just wanted the benefits that come if you have dependents
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/07/20 02:05 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/07/20 05:03 PM

Why would you advertise this on social media? It’s just embarrassing.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/07/20 04:23 PM

The article is fake. It’s under “short imagined monologues”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/07/20 03:39 PM
25

They interviewed the first wife and she clarified that their marriage actually ended because he met the second wife and got her pregnant. She then said he dropped the second wife when he met this chick... and she’s pregnant so. Yeah, definitely a pattern with this cheater.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 03:57 PM

Not to mention he was also physically abusing Pamela Anderson. That poor girl
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/07/20 10:33 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 03:03 PM

If she’s already caught him and decided to pretend it wasn’t what it was I don’t think you should tell her. It’s a little wrong but I think it’s best if you’re able to remain in her life until she either sees the truth for herself or he leaves her. Although I advise you to distance yourself from her a bit for your own mental health, pickmes have a way of dragging everyone around them down.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/06/20 07:12 PM
7

That’s why you should take that into consideration if you plan on telling her. Keep in mind I said it would be the moral thing to do - I didn’t say it’s what you SHOULD do. Is there anyway you can help her catch him? That way she finds out but she doesn’t hear it from you. Also has she caught him cheating before? You mentioned he’s publicly humiliated her before. If she’s caught him before I honestly wouldn’t say anything. I know that’s wrong on my part but after a certain point she’s just letti…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/06/20 06:57 PM
39

Personally I just hold men to the same standards they hold me. I’m not gonna judge a man if he’s had casual sex in the past - because so have I. But if he judges women based on their history I don’t want him. I do agree with other on this thread that if he’s paid for sex it’s a deal breaker.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/06/20 05:54 PM
23

I think morally you should tell her, but don’t expect her to leave him. Honestly there’s a chance she’ll drop you instead. I think you should take that into consideration.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/06/20 05:49 PM

This whole thing is so try hard. Why does this seem like a man who hates her wrote it lol
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/06/20 09:02 PM

I like how he waited until AFTER she let him do that to her to tell her he could no longer see her in a positive light. What a piece of shit that guy is.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/06/20 07:37 PM
4

I’m not judging too harshly because she’s clearly young and inexperienced. But yeah, the whole post was very much “look at me I’m so cool! Do I get male validation now???”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/06/20 03:58 AM
16

To me there’s topics where there’s just no argument for the “other side”. Certain things just aren’t debatable, for example: the holocaust was bad PERIOD. There’s no argument, the other side is wrong. It’s the same thing for the BLM movement. Black people shouldn’t have to live with the possibility of getting shot by a cop for no good reason. That’s it, anyone who debates that is an ass.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/06/20 06:13 PM
39

It sounds like the type of flirty-teasing you see in movies about teenagers where the person who wrote the script doesn’t know how teenagers actually talk to each other. “Omg Dillan you’re such a brat!! 🤪😜😝”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/06/20 05:28 PM

That’s gotta be the biggest mood killer in the world “who’s your daddy” like sir, don’t you dare bring my father into this conversation wtf
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/06/20 10:26 PM

Nah if you did that he’d try to set up a three-way

I always find it weird when people have no problem going into the life long commitment of having kids with someone but refuse to marry that person. Like, why would you want kids with someone you don’t love enough to marry?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/06/20 03:21 AM

Personally I think people are allowed to have a type and that tends to include race/ethnicity. So a pattern of consistently dating a certain type of person isn’t a big deal to me but I do understand why people are saying to watch out if all his ex’s look like you. It’s like, it’s one thing to be attracted to people of (insert ethnicity here) but it’s another thing to ONLY date people of that ethnicity.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/06/20 04:38 AM
3

I’m totally making an assumption here and I could 100% be wrong; but are you Asian? The things you’re describing are really prominent with guys who get really into anime and begin to fetishize Asian women because they think they’re more submissive. If so I say straight up avoid men who are into anime, obviously not every man who watches anime sees Asian women that way but the majority of them do. I’m of a different ethnicity that tends to get fetishized a lot and I’ve learned to avoid a certain …

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/06/20 12:47 AM

And it’s even better if she’s a virgin so she never learns what good sex is and he can make her do porn stuff! Also she can’t go to college or have any friends, she has to be 100% reliant on him
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/06/20 02:02 PM
41

Of course not! She has to be between 18 and 28, he wants kids of course (that she’ll raise pretty much on her own) and it’s not like women over 30 can have children!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/06/20 01:58 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/06/20 01:39 AM

Yeah a lot of guys get labeled as HV just for being decent human beings. Like it’s always nice when someone is a decent person but that’s the minimum for everyone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/06/20 02:01 AM
52

I think it’s worse that she’s only 2 months into the marriage. I’ve never been married but I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be a honeymoon phase.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/06/20 01:48 PM
3

Fun fact, if you’re a woman (and I’m assuming you are since men aren’t allowed to post in this sub) you’re already feminine and exude it by merely existing! Watching videos and reading books isn’t really gonna help because you’ll just be trying to imitate something you’re not. Be yourself, it seems like what you really need is to learn to be comfortable within yourself. Get to know yourself and I guarantee that once your happy with your self and aren’t trying to be someone you’re not people will…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/06/20 03:37 AM

Well tell her to come to this subreddit and we’ll make fun of her too! That way it won’t just be men laughing in her face
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/06/20 01:59 AM

This is slightly irrelevant from the overall post but I have found that any man who refers to sex workers in any degrading term is a POS.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/06/20 07:19 PM
3

Keep in mind I’m not saying you shouldn’t be polite- just don’t try to make people like you. I wanted to clarify that since I just realized I didn’t put it in my comment.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/05/20 04:44 AM
12

Yeah, I think the thing that creeps me out about them is how tiny they are (although seeing a giant bug wouldn’t be better), I can just imagine them crawling around everywhere like in my nose and ears. I’m not gonna judge someone for being scared of the same thing I’m scared of lol
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/05/20 11:02 PM
9

You said towards the end that you try really hard to be liked by the women around you and you’re wondering if you should stop. Yes, you should stop. I’m not gonna speak on the character of the women around you - maybe (as many have already pointed out) they’re jealous of you, or maybe their personalities just don’t mesh with yours. People can sense when someone is trying too hard and it puts them off from that person. I think you should just be yourself and let them say what they will. Look for …
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/05/20 10:14 PM

Yeah, if someone kept posting complaints about her boyfriend she’d eventually get shamed for not leaving him. This isn’t a “Rant about your shitty boyfriend but never fix the problem” sub. You either level up or get roasted for being a pickme
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/05/20 07:11 PM
42

He was like “ yeah, yeah, whatever you want. Now get off the stage so this chick can put her tits near my face!”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/05/20 12:19 AM

That’s like, beyond trashy. Also imagine everyone at the strip club - the workers trying to do their job, the men who are trying to see some strippers - and then this random chick proposes to a man who could be her grandfather. Lol wtf.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/05/20 03:36 AM

I definitely think it’s better to just separate yourself from her like the other comments are saying because people like that will just drag you down (women with that low self esteem can rarely be helped, they have to see the light themselves and they’ll emotionally drown anyone who tries to help). However, do you know what your other roommates think? Do you think they’d back you up and tell her that you’re not comfortable with the way he treats her and while you guys respect her right to be in …

That’s very interesting, thank you for answering
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/05/20 08:28 PM

I have to ask, do you remember how you justified that to yourself ? Like how did you look at that situation and justify staying? (Unless you broke up with him for it)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/05/20 03:08 PM
42

Why don’t they realize that if a man wants to marry you he’ll be eagerly planning the proposal?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/05/20 03:25 AM

Oh please, there’s no way that guy even pretends to care if she orgasms
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 11:16 PM

True. He stole her food and all she asked for in return was a sandwich- that girl was already used to his greed
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 10:05 PM

In fairness to that particular subreddit he was torn to pieces. It was a unanimous YTA ruling.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 09:55 PM

And all she asked for pay back was a SANDWICH and the POS didn’t even wanna get her one.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 08:45 PM

Seriously, I don’t endorse even responding to these men but she put him in his place so beautifully! Everything she said was savage asf and all he had to clap back with was one weak word.

“Bark, bark, now move” Iconic.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/05/20 06:43 AM

The majority of men like this don’t even end up being successful- they end up on their parents couch smoking weed and trying to chase any young and naive girl that they can.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/05/20 03:20 PM

I’ve heard of cultures where at a women’s bachelorette party female members from her family (and her soon to be husband’s family) give her jewelry so she can pawn it in case she ever has to leave him . That’s what this post made me think of, for generations women have been so oppressed by men that we had to come up with unsaid escape plans.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/05/20 01:26 AM

I’ve seen her in the botched subreddit. Her before is beauty goals for so many women, this is so sad.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/05/20 01:07 AM

Well the good thing is that the judgments have changed to NTA and all the YTA have been downvoted
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/05/20 10:12 PM

I knew there was an actual word for it but couldn’t remember it
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/05/20 07:19 PM

In fairness to you the writing did come off as some man role playing. It was essentially “as a fellow female I think men are right and women - I mean us, are wrong!” I thought it was man as well.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/05/20 07:18 PM
50

I’m glad you said it because the first thought that popped into my mind was “Rape. That’s rape.” But I also don’t want to minimize rape since there is technically consent (sort of) in what the article is suggesting. But yeah, it’s rape.

He doesn’t have to pay 50/50 but he should be helping out with his fair share. I honestly wouldn’t have liked this if the roles were reversed either - in this post I talked about a comment where she said she trusts him 100% and refuses to get a prenup, I’d call out a man for that as well. He’s saving a lot of money by letting her pay and I doubt all that money is going into gifts. She’s wasting her money and inheritance on him while he’s probably only using a paycheck or two on her. No job pays …

I’m not from George Clooney’s generation and I actually don’t know what he looked like in his 20s (I’ll google it) but I do think he’s attractive, like I don’t wanna hook up with him or date him but I recognize that he’s conventionally attractive. George Clooney is classically handsome and I think that’s why his name comes up when we’re listening off attractive men. He’s the exception for his age tho, not the rule.

The tricky thing about this is that you also don’t want to be with a man who just... left his previous kids and isn’t their life’s. That’s essentially setting yourself and any kids you have with him to be left behind as well.

I'm not the person you replied to, but the term "mommy's boy" isn't referring to a man who has a healthy relationship with his mother. A mamas boy doesn't have boundaries with his mother. She coddles him and raises him to be a man child/emotional partner. It's really gross how a mamas boy is basically a baby and a surrogate husband for his mother. The mother is usually a narcissist and makes relationships with these men hell, she'll always hate any women he dates and he'll always choose her over…

Eh I wouldn’t blame liberal feminist on this one. That guy seems like an incel. Incels don’t care about women at all, that’s why he said he doesn’t care about the women being trafficked. I’m not sure, I was never in that position, but honestly, no. I don’t think I’d ever tell him. I’d just be vague. The facts are that when a relationship has a significant age gap there will always be an imbalance in the power dynamic. It doesn’t matter how much the couple likes to pretend that the young person is “Like, SO mature for their age”. We’re not the ones adding to this. We’re literally going off what YOU told us. The difference between how we’re seeing it and how you see it is that we’re looking at it objectively - you’re the one adding to it because what we’re saying may seem harsh. I’m sure you are very pretty but that doesn’t matter. You could be Beyoncé and guess what - you’re still not gonna be everybody’s type. Besides, a guy that old isn’t going for someone so young because he’s looking for a relationship.

Ever notice that when women do sexually abuse boys (and the men aren’t insisting the boy should be proud) they act as if the women is some temptress who lured the boy in and took advantage of him, after all he’s just a boy, how would he know better? (don’t get me wrong this narrative holds a certain amount of truth) BUT when it’s an older man who takes advantage of a girl; they say “well.. she should have known better. Didn’t her parents raise her to be smart enough to watch out for bad men?! Al…

I didn’t have this exact experience, but when an ex of mine told me he smoked he followed it up with “ I guess you want me to quit huh “ Is smoking gross and dangerous ? Yes, but I’m not about to tell a grown ass man what to do with his life.

Actually I think she did an interview where she said she didn’t want kids. It’s one of the reasons why her and Brad Pitt had a strained relationship.

I might get shit for saying this because people love her, but.. Jennifer Aniston. She dates low value men all the time. At some point we have to hold her accountable for willingly dating LV.

Sadly we’re conditioned at a young age to believe that love is the end all goal for women so you can’t fault a lot of them for truly believing that the filtered half love they get isn’t worth all the misery.

Ugh. The one that annoys me to no end is the “younger women are more fertile!” No you idiot you’re just a pervert who wants to pray on young vulnerable girls. Oddly enough this logic doesn’t apply to them, they genuinely believe that their sperm is good until the day they die.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/03/20 06:53 PM

That man would leave her anyways. Like even if he’s LV, I don’t know anyone who would stay with someone like that.

Okay. The whole 18 years and in a box of chicken nuggets thing aside... the McDonald’s chicken nuggets aren’t even good quality (that’s right I said it) they look like plastic and their texture seems.. off. I’ll admit I haven’t had them since I was a child but I wasn’t even impressed then. I guess he was sticking to a theme though; Cheap and not worth the wait.

Yeah I couldn’t finish reading it either, I hate to talk about another person like this but the whole thing is just so.. pathetic. The op is taking so much responsibility while seemingly ignoring the fact that the husband and his mistress are the ones who should be feeling terrible. Again I didn’t finish it but I’m assuming she’s not putting any real blame on either of them. People in the comments are saying she’s such a sweet person and doesn’t deserve this but the truth is that she’s a doormat…

I don’t think this is saying you’d be the asshole in the eyes of others per say, it doesn’t even mention other people. However we as a society (and this falls harder on women) are conditioned to at least pretend to be great full when someone does something that is technically perceived as polite. So while her peers might not view her as an asshole she might feel a conditioned guilt for not accepting this “kind” gesture- despite knowing that is not what it is.

I hope you informed your boss. Anyways, as many people have suggested you should definitely do some spring cleaning and donate stuff you don’t want/need anymore (after you’re no longer ill obviously) and maybe do some baking and watch some old movies you’ve always wanted to watch but haven’t gotten around to. And seriously please do report that guy, he’s putting life’s at risk.

Honestly when I saw that I assumed two things: 1. The story broke on the local news or something, hence a comment from the police (a weird one unless they live in a small town but still). And 2. He’s white.

Article: NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two people found dead in a crashed car on Friday morning off of a construction road on the 400 block of Old Hickory Blvd. in West Nashville are believed to have been murdered after investigators say the two were both shot. According to Metro Police, 33-year-old Holly Williams and her estranged boyfriend 36-year-old William Lanway were found dead in the car by a construction worker. I think the 165 for a women is also dependent on her height. I’m on the shorter side so 165 would definitely be too much weight on me but someone whose like 5’6 or so would be fine.

Yup. It’s weird because I recently saw one of an attractive guy -like classically good looking- get rated lower than an average/below average guy. Honestly I’m pretty sure that sub is just for ugly guys to trash good looking people and make themselves feel better

I don’t think this is something that really needs to be discussed. You shouldn’t have to ask him to post you, he should just wanna do it on his own. It just says something if he doesn’t. Look on this posts comments where one user talks about how her ex never posted her but posted his previous girl all the time.

Oooh yeah another example is Jolene by Dolly Parton which is a great song but it’s also the song of a super insecure women. Like if you have to beg someone not to take your man (which is also something you should take up with him not her) then he’s probably not really your man.

If it’s real I can really think is that she’s posting it on twitter as a joke but is hoping that someone calls the cops for her or something? Or she’s leaving some sort of trail as possible evidence in case something does happen (and let’s face it with a man like that it definitely will) at least that’s what I hope she’s doing and that she doesn’t genuinely believe that any of that is okay or normal.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/02/20 03:59 AM

That’s why I said she should be making an escape plan. She needs to get out but of course it won’t be easy so she needs to be careful and take the best course of action- but she 110% get out

Honestly I’m questioning if she’s as crazy as he claims. I think she’s still seeing him and thinks their in an exclusive relationship. That’s why he’s asked op to stay away from her and deny being engaged to him.

I would take screenshots and expose him for the liar he is. Of course I’m of the petty type. I guess the higher road to take is to block and ignore him since confronting him won’t do anything

I think this is a common thing that trips girls up. They think “we’ll he says he doesn’t want anything but he acts like he does so he must secretly want a relationship with me!” But no, either he’s polite or trying really hard to get laid.

One time I was hanging out with a guy (this was a long time ago when I didn’t have much of an ego) and he had a book on his nightstand called “how to deal with having a big penis” or some shit like that. Anyways a bit later I see his penis and... it’s tiny, like shamefully so, and he has the audacity to ask me if the book is right or not... bro I got the fuck out of there so fast. The amount of ego men have for just being men is astounding.

Yeah the new girl sounds like such a pick me and also like she wants to be sooo different from other girls just because she didn’t own rings before so she’s obviously “such a boy”. She’s definitely a good target for a guy this LV

Ugh what a disgusting piece of shit that guy is. I hope things work out for you. Hopefully he’ll get what he deserves. Also I’m glad you talked to the police because who knows if he’s done it before or will again. At least if they don’t do anything right know they’ll have this report on file and if he assaults someone again it’ll be proof against him

Honestly? I didn’t really have to do anything. We clicked immediately and he pursued me from then on. I knew he was high value from the start because despite having to travel a lot when we first started talking he still stayed in touch as much as he could and brought me back little things I would mention (example: I collect mugs and mentioned that I always like the shirts they sell as souvenirs so he brought me a mug and shirt from every place he visited). It just fell into place naturally, I’ve…

Okay I’m not an expert so think about my advise in depth before taking it, but try mentioning to the girls he’s talking to about the others. Like go to girl A and casually mention to her about how things seem to be going between him and girl B. (Yeah he and girl be are really getting along and they might get serious soon) If they’re smart they’ll talk about and it may unravel that he’s talking to more girls. Of course if you’re close to all these girls you can just privately let each one of them…

It’s important to picture your future. That way if say, you’ve just cut someone out of your life, you can see the positive impact that decision has/will have. It’s also nice to think of all the good things happening, even the small ones that we usually take for granted.

I’m seeing a lot of good advice on here and just want to throw in my two cents. Quality is important. I myself am pretty frugal but I’m learning not to compromise on certain things like self care items and make up. That’s not to say that you can’t find good things for a good price but while a body sugar scrub may seem like an unneeded expense it can make you happier because it’s a special thing you’re doing for yourself.
