Your first mistake is to paint men and boys as the cause of the problem.

Fewer people might mean fewer issues because more resources would be available. But that is not a gendered issue.

What does it actually fix though? At best you can say that those who might potentially have suffered do not, but nothing would actually be addressed or materially improved for those that do exist.

So what you are proposing is just extinction, i mean technically it would but it wouldn't help any of the currently alive men, and it would also lead to the extinction of humanity which is a big issues i reckon. It fixes men's issues the way shooting someone cures their cold, yes their cold is cured but they are also fucking dead. Sure men's issues are fixed but their aren't any men alive any more so it doesn't really change anything.

I really wish I could make a certain joke about this, but it contains major spoilers for a pretty amazing manga/anime.

I can respect antinatalism as a response to the overall human condition as a whole even if I disagree...but I will never accept it as a response to the condition of a certain group of people, especially when it is paired with the idea that it is a "solution" to the problems that group causes the world.

At best it seems like giving up. At worst...a woman suggesting it is a genocidal freak and a man suggesting it is a traitor.

I couldn't care less if men cause "problems" by existing. We have a right to be here and continue to reproduce our sex regardless of the consequences that causes.

The solution is never to cease to exist but instead to address the issues plaguing us. Rather than fade like a snuffed out flame, we need to relentlessly pursue solutions that will benefit us. More men teaching boys what is in store for them in the adult world, more men supporting men with their mental health, more men entering positions of power with the intention of pushing policies in our favor.

Things may look bleak but deleting our gender from the world out of despair, spite of some misguided sense of altruism is not the answer and never will be.

I am partially anti-natalist, so I think I can speak on this a bit.

In general, yes, but not pursuing any relationship with a woman would do the same thing.

Since many issues regarding men's rights revolve around divorce court and child support, it would help not to have to deal with the extra pressure and slant towards mothers that these situations can cause.

As for the other topics, concerning sexual assault and rape, I wouldn't know how helpful it would be considering that sex is nowadays less about procreation.

I would say though, the main reason that I am anti-natalist is that I don't want to bring a child to this world. Especially if they turn out to be a boy, I would hate to see my baby have to interact with a climate where their suffering is ignored or even mocked.

I think proper understanding of antinatalistic ideas is important for male advocacy. It's not just about procreating, it's about ethics behind procreating. Today's human society is plain garbage (not to mention the suffering nature of existence itself). So creating a completely new, innocent human and forcing them to live in this garbage is a quite questionable act, ethically; especially if they turn out to be AMAB.
