TBH I think this whole movement-thing still needs a couple years or maybe a decade until we can get to the point of in-person collective organization

Like, the reason you see basic concepts explained repeatedly over posts, is because we don’t even have higher lever terms to discuss complex issues as feminists do (ie. patriarchy, mansplaining, glass ceiling, etc), so discussions and conclusions on this subreddit still tend to be very shallow — and that’s only the first step

Think of it from a marketing perspective; the hardest part is not identifying issues, but making people care about the things you say. And that is specifically hard for men because we’re assumed to always be in control, so people see no need to care for us.

Just be the change you want to see in the world.

There is no movement, just right and wrong, and people who won’t let wrong skulk by as normal without compliant.

What are you interested in specifically? Post and contribute on those subject. It's also good to post or read up on legal developments (either in your country or to learn about how other countries are addressing issues from a gender perspective)

I think that the first thing we need to do to popularize and grow the movement is to realize that it shouldn’t be a movement. Honestly, it should be a sub-point of a platform point of a broader movement.

The broader movement is the universalist/anti-identitarian left. A big platform point for the universalist left must be to repair what decades of identity politics have broken. Male advocacy is obviously one part of that.

Thus, I think the best thing we all can do is to rebuild a true, universalist and anti-identity politics left.

Most countries will have some kind of organisation pushing these issues - in my experience, it often starts with paternity rights, so I'd try and explore to see if there's anything along those lines.
