When did I say to hate them? I just said that you all are too naive, too easy to fool. Fake mgtow. The fact that you mentioned mensrights makes all the more sense now. All of you "virtous" egalitarians are flooding our sub due to the recent crossposts.
[β]ClearRequirement8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
There are probably a lot of mgtow that would prefer to be in a traditional relatioship, but can not because it is not possible in todays climate. I guess its one of those ugly truths, that this forum would be a lot smaller with the world being less insane. No culture change will change female nature though, and these guys would then slave away in their provider role, if they got their wish.

Christina H. Sommers has a proven track record of being a male ally (as early as Gamer Gate at least). She has two sons only - I don't think of her as being a chameleon - more like she's acting in a logical manner. That can align with the manosphere from time to time.
This is still MGTOW - no women allowed to participate in this sub. No one here rushing to get into a relationship either. But we can recognize and be grateful for help when it is given. Many people here are also fans of Esthar Villar.
[β][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly, this x100. Esther is the primary reason I became so wary of female nature and just proved everything to me. It made me realize, that all this marriage bs is a waste of time.

Women: We need to fight the wage gap!
Men: Okay. We arenβt causing it. Go ahead and fight it by getting high paying, skilled jobs.
Women: gets longer harder jobs that pay well
Women: We are working too much! Increase minimum wage, thatβll fix the wage gap! Women shouldnβt be required to work in a hard job just to afford nice things!
[β][deleted] 33 points34 points35 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Increase minimum wage, thatβll fix the wage gap!
No, they don't do that, plenty of male minimum wage jobs they don't give a shit about. What they bleat about is "Women's work is undervalued! These fields need to be paid more!" and "This company / industry is sexist! We need more female [INSERT JOB TITLE THAT IS HIGHLY PAID, HIGH PROFILE YET STILL WORKS IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED OFFICE]!". Despite the fact there's a reason those fields aren't highly paid (supply and demand, barriers to entry, etc) and that typically few women do those jobs (they're difficult and stressful).

[β]Mad_King10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
I can second to this as a programmer.
[β]NaughtyFred6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
I've been considering learning Assembly as I like the idea of talking directly to the hardware (like an Adeptus Mechanicus from 40K). Am I trying to run a marathon before I can jog to the end of my street?
[β]rorevozi7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I really donβt know what youβd ever use assembly for. Itβs a great learning tool for understanding whatβs actually happening at the hardware level though
[β]NaughtyFred1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Apparently the only real (ie business) use for it these days is drivers for components. Tbh at 40 I don't see myself making a career out of any programming language.
[β]TheChrississin1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link
If you're advanced in programming and do it quite often, maybe even know more than one programming language well enough, yes, it's an interesting skill to pick up, especially if you want to learn how computers really work without any obstructions like in Java or even C, however if you're still a beginner or don't know any programming language at all, it might be better for you to learn something easy like Java or Python, to get acquainted with it. As you said in your other post, it doesn't have any real world application, it's more of a learning tool.
EDIT: To go further into that, even if you know one high-level language like Java and want to go more low-level, I'd rather suggest getting into C before using Assembly, it is probably the closest to hardware and it has it's own quirks like no garbage collector (so you have to assign and free memory yourself), there not being a String datatype but rather a character array, or pointers.
[β]NaughtyFred1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I noticed you mentioned C, what about C++? I've considered that too, while not "beginner friendly" would it be an ok first language to learn?
[β]TheChrississin1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
C++ is basically an extension of C, it kind of unifies the best of both worlds, while you can do a lot of low-level stuff with it, you can also use it for higher-level things too. It is certainly more difficult than Java, as C++ also doesn't have automatic garbage collection, and also uses pointers, but it is quite more user-friendly than C. However, if you want to get into Object-oriented Programming, you may find that C++'s support of that is very incomplete, and Java or C# do a much better job at that. C and C++ have their main uses in Operating Systems (the Linux Kernel and macOS's base are entirely in C and some ASM, Windows uses a mix of C, C++ and C# with some ASM) as well as videogames, where it's more efficient and fast than using languages like Java. In the end, if you are more on the tech-savvy side of things, it will be a good first language to learn, if you want to take it more slowly, try to learn Java instead before you get into lower-level things. I personally started with Java and got into web development after that (JS, PHP, SQL and the lot) before I learnt C, but I haven't done much in C# or C++ before.
[β]NaughtyFred1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Ok assuming I was learning a language for a career (which it's not, just a hobby) that career would be working on the next Windows OS...what language do I pick?
[β]TheChrississin1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think, for this kind of use you'd be good with starting C++ or C# (which is a bit easier to get into as a total beginner) and maybe consider C after you've had quite some experience with one of these, they are generally the most used in this field. The same thing applies to different software you write for an OS (if you want to use a window as a user interface instead of a console window, C# and especially Visual C# Studio makes it very easy to do such things) as well as videogames. Java is too high-level for something like this, it uses a lot more resources (as it's run in its own virtual machine) and it's very easy to decompile, so it is generally much less often used for such things.
[β]Mad_King0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes, you should start with easy to not get overwhelmed by hardness of assembly. Java is what you should try. It has not much benefit to learn that shit either.

Because the last 12 years of federal student loans have been a βquietβ way to print more money and inject more money into the economy.
Student loans since 2007 are about equal to the total amount of TARP, NIRP, ZIRP, and QE1 - 3.
It made the banks whole after the GFC by indenturing a generation of debt slaves.
All that money had to go somewhere, so the colleges (previously faced with a shrinking enrollment) jumped on board the βcollege for everyoneβ train with a myriad of bullshit degrees. That way they can justify the tuition while building out their gyms, restaurant-quality cafeterias, sports stadia, etc.

That's an extreme example. The real problem majors are more benign - philosphy, history, english, mass communications, etc. Basically, anything a college offers with a minimal math requirement. People don't like math and still think they're gonna get a valuable education. That's not how that works.
That's like thinking you're gonna be ripped but you don't like going to gyms.

Obviously #notall, but they're the exception that proves the rule. However, the "mgtow" who rush to whiff her cunt once she parrots out a couple of the things we've known about for years are exactly what she wants. This is all a ploy to bring the weak men back to the plantation, hopefully giving her money as they do, and it's working little by little.
Do not believe any old chameleon that can parrot out a few lines.
I'm not saying women are illogical, I'm just saying that this is all for the benefit of her solipsism and in-group bias. It's calculated malevolence, not actual emotional stuff. I believe women can be very capable too, given the proper upbringing and training. However, it's when the society doesn't hold them accountable for being conniving little shits that it all goes to hell. I think of them as children who don't have parents to tell them no or spank them.
