I've been following this sub for a while now, and MGTOW has been very good at identifying how men are being treated in society.

It offers a solution for individual men who are either not interested in becoming fathers or see the trade off as acceptable.

If you either do want children or already have them, MGTOW won't work for you. In the long run, it may solve one's personal problems, but on it's own, it won't change society. As the father of 4 sons, I do want society to change. I don’t want my boys being treated as defective or evil and me taking the exit won’t fix anything for them or the coming generations.

Being a father has by far been the most worthwhile thing I’ve done, and I feel like I’d be taking away the same from my boys if I tell them to ‘go their own way’, on the other hand, times have gotten worse and so have the conditions on marriage, so under the current terms, they are not in a good situation.

I also disagree with the premise that women are inherently born to be the way they are now. I think they have been socially engineered to behave in ways that are destructive to building families, and this system actually doesn’t work for them either (I can’t count the number of disillusioned career women that sob and cry at >35-40 for being single and childless and feel that biology is unfair for turning of a certain option).

So, while I agree largely with the problem analysis MGTOW makes, I don’t agree on the solution. My question is, what is your take on this, how do you feel about the consequence of not becoming a father when opting for MGTOW and do you believe women are inherently negative (biologically), or conditioned to respond in a certain way.

Do you see MGTOW as a good solution, or just the only viable option today?

Just a note, I’m the founder of (probably) the only men’s right site in Belgium, so a big MRA. My interest in the MGTOW movement is mainly in that context.
