I still don't understand the part where he said his company fired him on the word of a disgruntled ex.

He seems wealthy enough to me that if that happened (and he was innocent so they couldn't prove it), that he would have just had to walk into a lawyers office, and then later into a bank to cash the check from his wrongful termination suit.

I completely believe him when he says "it was like someone flipped a switch in her"

I've experienced this before. I only came to the conclusion that she was a psychopath or something.

I had sympathy for story 1, after that I have none.

I espically can never understand how a man could get to the point where he is hearing from the bank about accounts being drained and checks bouncing. I get an alert instantly on every one of my cards and accounts for every transaction, no money moves in or out of any account with out me knowing. If I spend $15 for lunch I get a text message before I leave the place....

How someone could allow someone else to spend $32,000 of their money and not know about it is beyond my understanding

So many good men get divorce raped, face false allegations of abuse in court, get hit with lifetime alimony, threat of jail time if they don't pay outrageous child support.

When men commit, the woman tries to turn them into a cuckold.

The men who don't commit get all the sex they want until the woman grows bored and moves on.

If they woman is going to leave anyways then there's no point in risking a marriage committment.

When I was younger I would have thought there was something wrong with him, that he was attracting evil women. Now that im older with my own war stories I can tell you this reads more and more as the average experience.

I recommend anyone reading this to write out their own relationship synopsis and post it somewhere, then come back and read it like it was a stranger. I didn't think my experience read like a nightmare until I did that, it was just so normalized in my head.

This is a perfect example of what brainwashing did to men before the Internet really became ubiquitous. I bet this guy just didn't really understand that he could and should go his own way. I really hope young men read this cautionary tale and don't make the same mistakes a lot of us did.
