This is my first post on any media. I have never posted any comment on youtube, never used instagram or facebook. For the past few months I have been lurking around on this subreddit as I‘ve been feeling that there is something fundamentally wrong with treating men in the job market. I am German and live in Germany.

For the past three years I‘ve been working as a cop for investigations. The women there are all post wall men hating humans. I wanted to escape. As I am interested in technical stuff I applied for a job as an air traffic controller in a wealthy German company.

Now to the real story. The company has a test that lasts over multiple days. The company is known for extremely hard tests as the job of an air traffic controller is insanely hard, the salary is very good. (100k a year) It is said that about 5% of people pass the test.

In the first test your intelligence as well as your multitasking is tested. You have to calculate in very short times and stuff like that. The hardest part is when you find yourself in a simulation where you have to coordinate multiple aircrafts without them touching each other while simultaneously answering questions.

At the start of the test there were 50 people (35 men, 15 women). After the intelligence and multitasking test, 9 men and 3 women were left. (Around 20% for each gender)

Now comes the bullshit. After the intelligence test there was a „group task“ to test your social competence. (You can already see where this is going.)The task was complete bollocks. The 2 psychologists who evaluated our „social competence“ were 2 women. Afterwards, all men were „eliminated“, 2 of the 3 women passed the test.

Now to what pisses me off the most:

  1. the job makes good money and only the 2 females will earn 100k+ € while I am gone for no reason

  2. why are there 2 female psychologists? Why not 1 male and 1 female?!

  3. the company states on their website that they have a woman quota which is in itself discriminating against men and also not compatible with our constitution

  4. BIG NOTE: the 2 psychologists have never even controlled an aircraft themselves. How can someone evaluate whether I am compatible for this job when she hasn‘t even done it herself?
