The movie was full of holes... And lot of stupid moves... And the guy is supposed to be a military guy...

Imagine that you are in a western movie and you have enough dynamite to blow a building so you successfully infiltrate the bad guys' base where everybody is asleep, would you start killing by knife all the baddies and risk waking up everyone or would you blow them up safely at once?

Damn stupid plot full of propaganda, main one, global warming.

PS: It is not cause PTSD that they get divorced, it is even worse, it is cause he does not find this dream job as scientific...

Totally agree. This movie was a freaking mess. The men were bad people... because reasons....

Two dad's who left their family for no reason. He didn't find a great career so he leaves his daughter that he loves wtf? His dad had PTSD and son hates him for it but still later decides he will also leave his family.....just because.

Every woman was elite. Not only top notch scientists but also the best warriors. Cold calculating unflinching. While the main black guy was a massive coward ...and the other is dying with cancer...but gets sent away for a large part of the movie for no reason what so ever.

Action was fun but the plot was something a kid in middle school would write. Hollywood has gone down the drain. It was a poor "edge of tomorrow" copy cat. Wanted to love it because it seemed like maybe the political stuff was left out.....but no. They just kept it hidden in the trailers. Intentionally I'm sure.

But I managed to ignore it to the end... I can't say the same thing for Loki. I just stopped watching the show on EP3.

The movie was a bit of a disappointment. You'd think they'd be using drones to track enemy movement but nooooo. The reason why humanity was close to extinction in the future was because they are idiots.

God forbid anyone monitor the water and shit around their main base with drones but nooo the enemy managed get right on top of them AGAIN.

Their strategy was to keep throwing inexperienced ppl into the meat grinder with no training whatsoever and expect to win the war. You know they could've made body armor that would stop those spikes from wounding ppl but nope.

DUDE!!!! Thank you for posting this! I THOUGHT THE EXACT SAME THING! I WAS ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING, trying to get through the first 10 min of this, it was AWFUL, I couldn't get past all the gratuitous black people and DIVERSE WOMEN in "power positions". It was painfully and noticeably bad. I was like, you DO know it's MOSTLY white people serving in the military, right? the Black women are the ones looting and rioting in the streets, you know this, right?

I turned it off in 10 min. BTW, did you notice how the hero/protagonist is supposed to be a combat veteran alpha male....all the things society and women despise right now. SUCH Hollywood WOKE BS! thank you for posting this!

It wasn't as horrible as a lot of current movies are, but you're right. It has the usual tropes: whamen great, men bad/incompetent, blacks great, whites bad.

I think there were three white males in the entire cast; the hero, the Secretary of Defense, and the hero's Dad. Every other person was female, or BIPOC.

I guess in the future most whites have been wiped out.

This one was a hot mess. Where to begin?:

Hey, an alien invasion is coming in 28 years and I went back in time. Do I give them 30 year more advanced technology and research and start preparedness programs and encourage breeding so we have more soldiers? Nope, let's just send old people from the past to fight my war in the future.
Sending middle age people into 7-day "tours of duty" with no training has no military value. They would simply be killed, as they were in the movie.
Just because someone died before the future war date doesn't mean they wouldn't have done something important between now and then. Sending them to die today means losing the contributions they would have made.
Hey, we have a toxin that disintegrates the males, but not the ultra-rare females. Do we send it back in time and mass produce it so that we have a huge advantage in this war, or risk everything by trying to perfect it?
Look, the aliens were actually cargo for an advanced space travelling race that got loose. Where have I seen that before?
Also, the standard paradox issue in all time traveling movies. If they kill the aliens in the present, there is no war that prompts them to kill the aliens in the present.
