I suggest avoiding this interview. I'm guessing someone in academia is likely to approach MGTOW with a highly critical lens and preformed prejudices against the movement.

Avoid. I wouldn't trust anyone to delete transcripts etc. Even if I was to agree I would insist on a legal contract beforehand to protect my identity and have refusal on publication in case of misquoting. Assume they have bad intent and you can't be hurt.

I have received it, I highly recommend against giving any interview be it for the media or the academia or anyone else and this for several reasons.

They are more likely coming with bias and prejudice against MGTOW as a whole, we've seen it before, anything you say will be twisted and taken out of context to make us look bad as a whole. Also anyone who is familiar with or has good intentions towards MGTOW wouldn't have to use this method of direct private messaging to get an interview.

MGTOW has no leadership, no central authority, no rules, MGTOW means something different to every man and is more about a lifestyle and philosophy than any clear ideology. You can't speak for us as a whole and you can't speak for other MGTOWs. Don't try to speak as our leader because we don't want your leadership, nor anyone else's, which leads us to the next point.

You won't get your 15 mins of fame, not with the mainstream public because you will be anonymous or hidden behind a nickname, and not within the MGTOW community itself. Try it and see what happens to your image, ask MGTOW is Freedom and Jerry Liu after they gave an interview to CNN, their reputation is toast.

TLDR; don't give an interview, it will only serve the voices of our detractors.
