None of my friends go to bars or any other places to meet women. They are all under 40. I mean we don't even talk about women any more. This forum is probably the only place where I talk about women, or even think about them any more. Heh. I think the last time I was in a bar was almost 10 years ago. I guess some of the younger guys here might think that going Monk is extreme, when in fact it's almost like a natural thing for a man to do after a while. At least it feels that way to me. I guess your average western woman is just too much trouble for an average 30 something year old western male. Life is just more pleasant and calm when you're single. It's almost laughable that these chicks think they can snatch a guy after the ripe age of 30. It almost never happened before in history, but for some reason these modern women seem to think otherwise.

I'd imagine so, most of the fellas around my age range have been crippled by lack of funding for anything. I'm 20 btw, so we're all relatively young. We have to get creative for our activities due to the lack of funds and job schedules. Camping, fishing, home brewing, home gym, old steam games. If we're lucky we get crunk and go to Denny's at like 3 in the morn. But disregarding the women aspect. It has to do with chitty jobs that under pay for shit hours. I work the night shift ffs. 5pm to 1 am so I sleep during most of the daylight hours and when I'm awake I'm getting ready for work or up during the night like a vampire. The people you see at the grocery stores during the night... 0.o

Went to bars until I realized people go to bars just to claim they went to bars, as if it equates to "excitement" and "doing something you should envy me for", etc.

Eventually, I was like "Wtf? Go to a bar? Why? I spend money on overpriced drinks. Never meet anyone interesting. Waste hours of time. Might even lose my wallet/phone/get assaulted by an angry drunk for looking at his woman/wake up with a hangover/etc.... "

Not that I've particularly noticed, though I do not attend clubs, bars, etc. I'll go to a bar for lunch once in a while, but that's about it.

There is talk of a man drought in Australia. Only one eligible bachelor for every 4 or 5 women. I think all the dudes who have realised they don't meet the standard women are looking for have dropped out of social life. There really are more young women than men, but not four times as many.
