It's not the 'Pornography Effect', it's the 'Insert-whatever-here Effect'. People get addicted to porn. And facebook. And 'bad boys'. And chocolate. And so on.

Everything in moderation is fine. When it starts interfering with your normal life, normal people step back a bit, addictive people double down. Welcome to human nature.

I have three sons. We've had the porno talk. It exists, some of it is dodgy, some of it is great, and there's no shame to having a reasonable portion added to the diet. BUT, no porn before actually getting fucked. It creates some some pretty fucked up expectations of what the real thing is, and can rob you of the experience of figuring out what tightens your nuts.

It won't work, the little bastards are probably jacking off furiously as we speak to Pornhub, but hey, at least they have those words in their head and understand there's a gap between porn and the real world.

How is this bad? As long as your behaviour is not indicative of an addiction and the results are not harmful, the worst thing I could come up with is that you are reducing your chance of prostate cancer
