A lion may be stronger, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus
[–]bluescape49 points50 points51 points 8 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link
That sounds profound till you realize that lions can be tamed but wolves became domesticated and among those descendants are chihuahuas and dachshunds.
[–]HorusEyeDrops23 points24 points25 points 8 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
By natural selection imposed by Man, right? The first wolf that came to us was probably a piece of shit... but after hundreds of wolf generations of us killing the violent wolves in each litter, only the "most loved" genetics were left :)
Genetic engineering success story, I think.
[–]AnimalFactsBot19 points20 points21 points 8 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Wolves are excellent hunters and have been found to be living in more places in the world than any other land mammal except humans.
[–]labiteatibit7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
They are some of the greatest hunters the world has ever seen imo.
[–]jkarovskaya2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
African wild dogs are also good hunters, they have the highest kill rate for hunting live prey of any other predator on the savannah.
[–]labiteatibit1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Totally agree. Those little fuckers run down their prey to the brink of exhaustion and then take them down easily. Planet Earth had an episode where a pack of wild dogs run down a wildebeest. It's one of the most amazing nature scenes I've ever seen. If you can watch It, I would highly recommend.
[–]jkarovskaya2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I"m always fascinated to watch the few nature shows on African dogs, a few on YT.
Lots more on wolves.
I got to watch a wolf pack in action in the Lamar valley in Yellowstone national park, but the elk they were chasing went into woods, so we never saw if it got away or not.
[–]labiteatibit1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
You're very lucky to have seen that. I go moose hunting, and I was fortunate enough to see 2 wolves from my tree stand, while a bull moose came out of the woods a few minutes later. They didn't seem to be after the bull, since there were only two of them. It was an amazing site to see.
[–]jkarovskaya2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If you ever get to Yellowstone, you can see wolves in the Lamar quite often.
The top pack in the area tends to claim it for territory because of excellent grazing.
Yellowstone is like stepping back in time 200 years to the old west. I was camping there in 2005 and went for a morning run, and came across a huge herd of elk literally 30 feet from the paved road, calmly grazing, including a giant bull.
[–]Sealing_Phoenix1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Its called endurance hunting. Humans were big on that too.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"So there's hope for women" is what I'm hearing.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
A piece of shit with a lower stress reaction than almost all other wolves, probably weaker or possibly rejects/runts from the pack. My guess is that those wolves bred a little more successfully at first because they probably ate the leftovers from human camps. Then after a few generations those animals were eventually taken into human camps. Probably the only reason they survived.
The Soviets actually tried to recreate wolf domestication by breeding dozens of generations of them in captivity but it didn't really work. Probably because the initial sample was random and not animals with lower stress reactions/runts/rejects who would go anywhere near humans in the first place.
Oddly enough they did have some degree of success domesticating foxes. People still keep the offspring of that experiment as pets in parts of the former USSR. I knew someone who knew a guy who had a fox as a pet. Raised it from a stray cub he found. It took to biting people though so he let it go.
[–]jamocadyn1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes, I read about the Soviet experiment. What they actually did was concurrently ran two experiments. They bred the most docile to humans foxes with each other and bred the most violent ones with each other. The result was after three generations the docile foxes had curved tails, acted much like puppies and had different colouring--they would run up to humans, wanting to be petted desirous for affection. However, the violent ones would literally try to attack humans through their cage if one came into the room (these would be the people who fed them every day).
[–]bluescape2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm not saying I don't like dogs; the comment I was replying to was making making a direct comment that pertained to how subservient a given animal was.

The Jews have got it figured out. The chosen ones are very selective about who they breed with. The men must be intelligent, Jewish, and wealthy. They even must tell the women the value of the ring when they propose! It's no wonder why Jews produce all the geniuses. Everyone should copy it.

That basically what happen to human too, they found foot print of caveman and scientists found out that they were running as fast as Olympic sprinter. We are so dependent of the system... grocery, GPS, car, fridge, electricity... etc... We would not survive long in the wild.
[–]bluescape0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
We're dependent on a system we created. That'd be like saying that ants are domesticated because they depend on the colony, or chimps are domesticated because they depend on the troop. Civilization is humans surviving in the wild. We just do it on a scale so grand that we can forget about what it's like to not have the survival mechanisms that others have provided for us.

I’ve been thinking about this kinda thing all day. If you wanna go MGTOW, you have to stay off social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) because as soon as people see that your doing well, they will come after you and bleed you dry.
Stay as low key as possible and delete social media. I know this is sort of social media but nobody has profiles and shares pictures of their faces.
[–]Gcarney170 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Just delete the people that don’t support you and keep your close friends and family
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
That’s a good idea, but I think it’s better for the soul to delete all of it.
[–]Gcarney172 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yeah it’s really no bodies business anyways. The days before social media were much better and much more happy. People had to actually connect in person and no one knew any drama or personal things about you unless you talked in person. Man I miss those days.
I’m only 24 but I miss those days too, I’m so glad I had my childhood without social media. And I feel really sorry for anyone born now, because they won’t be able to properly connect with anyone, just some social media zombie looking for validation all the time.
This is one of the main reasons I will never have kids. Weird times we live in now!

[–]OODBX10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
If civil war legit broke out in the US, as in gunfights and bloodshed...the winners would be those like me, right down the middle. Not right or left, conservative or liberal. Becuase they'd eviscerate each other to the point that there wouldn't be enough of them left, and centrists like myself would pick up the pieces.
[–]Older_Miggy6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]OldTimeyENT3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think you are highly underestimating the right and the majority being self sufficient. Know many democrats that can clean a rifle? How about skin game? If a civil war broke out, the Government would win. By win, I mean now have the ability to enact martial law. Strip more rights, etc.
[–]labiteatibit0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Completely agree. Both parties are one of the same, and both are corrupt to the core.
Scenario 2. Pinochet like character wins the struggle by being more efficient. Tosses worst left wing loonies out of helicopters. Puts lid on further strife. Economic and day to day life continues at a steady pace. Secures tacit majority support from right and centre knowing the alternative if chaos is allowed to reign again.

Lack of food is an incredible motivator. Not saying this is gonna happen, but if we did have food shortages all of a sudden, then shit would hit the fan.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe not even a lack of food in terms of supply. But enormous amounts of people need government subsidy to eat. What if that system failed or an economic shock prevented it from working properly? Welfare is the only thing pacifying many of your cities. South Africa will give you a good idea of what will happen if it stops.

That's because the government puts antidepressants in the water supply keeping everyone from getting their asses off the porch. They just tell you the flouride is good for your teeth. And the side effect of birth control is that it gets recycled back into drinking water making woman angry and turning men into sissies.
[–]jkarovskaya3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
That's what Andrea Dworkin was preaching in the 1980''s about rape, saying that even consensual sex means the woman is raped.
These fems have proposed reducing the male population to around 5-10% just for breeding stock, and that's it.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Joke's on them. Chad prefers not to work.
Stupid bitches, lol
That's a bit optimistic. There will still need to be a labour force of Untermensch to take care of societies day to day functions. I estimate another 15-20% of the population. Probably some system to allocate women for breeding stock to shit them out too. Unless we have artificial wombs or can genetically engineer pigs or cattle to incubate humans by then.
[–]jkarovskaya0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
