Heard some ladies in line last night describing the value of a 3rd marriage. That the first marriage started because it sounded fun, then promptly divorced.

The second marriage was falling apart because they argue about every little detail around the raising of their children. She was describing to her three other friends the tribulations that her now husband has put her through and how it is just not worth her time to fix these problem.

She continued to describe how wonderful her initial courtship was with husband #2 but that beyond the sex they agreed about very little, and how husband #1 was always just a friend who never got out of friends with benefits but she married him anyways.

Now her friends are asking her if she is ready for a second divorce and she is asking them if it is totally taboo for her to want to remarry a different man. Her friends stated, “This is the reason why third marriages are generally successful, there are no children involved.”

The selfishness displayed here is unparalleled. For context, I live in Orange County, CA.

It's never too late for a thot to show up. Mine showed up at 33. Moved in, quit her job and never paid a nickel on the mortgage. At 18 months of marriage my attorney friend told me if she makes it to two years and you dump her ass your going to owe her alimony. So I filed. Still had to sell the house and split the proceeds with her, but I sold it for basically what was owed on the mortgage. I'll be damned if I was going to sell it for what it was worth and split it with her worthless ass. Could have been much worse if I had got her pregnant. She did get pregnant during the divorce and tried to pin it on me listening to her mothers advice to have the kid. But the baby came out black (same color as her drug dealer). I just looked at her and said...I guess it's not "white boy" day (stole that line from the movie True Romance). The mother fainted! Lol.

IMO, when you remove the compulsion/obsession with the love chemical you remove most of frustation, pain, and false conditions connected with it.

It's a type of freedom because all this crap is programmed in by the society to keep you motivated along a particular direction (gyno slavery, whatever). This compulsion is programmed from birth; therefore, mgtow's dangerous it can free you. It's one of the linchpins of a whole series of limiting and self-destructive mental states.

It doesn't mean it removes love or does anything negative, it just helps you avoid most of the detrimental effects of relationships and harmful manipulations of women. Maybe, nothing's perfect.
