I graduated with a 3.9/4.0 GPA in 2019 with a bachelors in software engineering at a top 20 worldwide University. I have 2 yrs experience (intern) and tons of side projects.

I got a job 6 months after graduating (in Canada, where I'm from). I worked only 5 months there until I quit because I just couldn't take the pressure. The pay was $1000 a week (CAD) which is around $750 USD. Because of covid, the company did major layoffs. Shortly after joining the company, I was assigned a second job (because company laid off people and people left had to pick up the slack) and was working 12 hours a day 6 days a week.

I just couldn't do it. Lockdowns meant I was home EVERY single day and it was just too much pressure. My manager was just harassing me all day and the pay was dogshit as I was making the same as I was making as an intern with 0 experience. I was going to kill myself. So I quit.

Now I decided not to put that 5 month job on the resume because my manager told me she'd give me a bad review... and I screwed her over by quitting... which means I have almost a 1.5 year gap on my resume...

I've been searching for jobs... I can't find one. All jobs pay 50-60k/yr in my location (Toronto) and all say theyre extremely high pressure environments... but I can't even get an interview! I've sent over 1000 resumes, no luck.

What should I do? I'm getting super depressed with my life and have no purpose. It's almost unbearable. I'm feeling extreme anxiety every day and I'm worried about being homeless in the future.

Maybe one of you guys can give a young MGTOW guy some life advice?
