They are a terrible judge of character, and allowed themselves to be impregnated by a man that wasn't going to stick around and help raise his children.

That's just not true. I live on my own for $1000 per month TOPS. Frequently I can do $800. But at 1k/mo over 18 years is a little over $200k. That's a grown ass man with car maintenance/rent/utilities/larger food needs/etc. If it costs you more money to provide for a child than it does an adult, you're doing something wrong. I guarantee you I could raise a kid for $150k with better education than what he gets at public school.

Their numbers are a great exaggeration. It costs less than 2k the first year a child is born. I'd have to go back and look but believe they're including everything with those number like the total cost of rent as if you don't have to pay that for youself anyway. lol It might cost a little more per person but don't think they're even dividing it off as an additional extra cost because it would be to much work.

Yeah, that figure seemed way too high. Diapers, baby clothes, food. For the first couple years, that's all. After that, school supplies (assuming public school), more clothes, still food.
Without paying for their college or private school, I doubt it would even more than 100k to raise a kid to be 18.

My father is married to a Widow, it's his third marriage, he's the main reason I'm MGTOW, he's constantly told me my whole life "lay low, don't have kids or get married" yet he's constantly making the same mistakes, he sounds like he doing alright though.

Went out with a single mom recently. Didn't have any expectations. Usual story. Kid not planned. Moved in with the dad. When baby was 6 months old she caught the dad banging the babysitter. The kicker was when I asked the daughter (now 3) where she slept she said 'Mommy's bed!' Oh hell no. Even funnier is the dad now lives with the babysitter so mom gets to see her regularly.
It seems like most single moms let their kids sleep with them because they're lonely. I know a few like that. I dated one and told her she should stop or the kid isn't gonna want to ever sleep alone and with her "wimmin logic" she got offended because I made sense.
