Pure speculation, but I suspect your report to HR probably didn't cause it, rather was a final nail for a poor performer. Of course, this could be countered that she was so outraged that she was was reported to HR (female privilege, after all) that she blew up during whatever interview/talk they had with her. Shrug.

Either way, congratulations on your good thinking, rational behavior, and ultimate solving of the problem.

I work at a dealership and we rent out some space to a car rental company. One of the girls that work there tried this shit. Its odd, and its good to see that none of our tech bother fucking with the nutcase. She is a butterface for sure. 100%.

But anyway, the girl would just always be in sight of me or my desk and bother me with a bunch of nothing. Me of course paying her no mind, work get the hell out of dodge. Over time she would flirt and gawk at me because gym is life. Eventually it seemed to come to a head because she seemed to be rearing to ask me out. Big no no in my book. We dont work for the same company but we work in the same building. But as fate would have it, my older female coworker who knows all the things blurts out something about the girls fiance that I'm sure I wasnt supposed to hear. Needless to say, she hardly hung around after that. Then he even showed up at his leisure a bit. Turns out I knew the guy and we went to highschool together! Even more so he had become a cop too!

I for one am glad I came across mgtow. Lots of traps I wasnt aware of before hand.

HR did their job, and it's between those who need to know.

besides, if anything got her fired, it was herself. If your name came up at all, consider it in a file, and possibly under scrutiny.

maybe you were the last straw, or some other entirely different reason, point here is you're still there. If people know, at some point they will come to you. Then is the only time to ask them what they know before you say anything.

Look, I will give you the same advice I give everyone else in this type of situation. Go to a pawn shop and pick up a wedding ring for yourself. Something obvious. Wear it every day, no exceptions. If someone hits on you mention 'your wife' and how happy you are and all the wonderful stuff you and her do. Separate your work and personal life completely. If someone invites you and your wife over for dinner, out to drinks,etc...decline. At work socials where spouses are common say your wife is ill, or out of town, or working late, just couldn't make it (what I say), whatever. Don't be afraid to even say you separate your work and personal life, this is acceptable in business. Bosses might be an exception. My boss knows I am not married and he knows I wear a wedding ring. He is not a moron, he knows why and he respects me for it.

Trust me on this.

I worked in an environment of almost 100% women and I was the top dog. Every last one was either trying to hook up with me or trying to hook me up. I started wearing a wedding ring and would drop mentions of a wife and on occasion would be seen with a woman in town (good friend of mine at the time) and it all went away. You have to be consistent though. Don't flirt back, do not shit where you eat, etc....

If you want to excel at work, separate work from personal completely.

Guys take notes from this. Go to HR before she does. While it's possible to win in case of some false accusation it's a hell lot easier to just be first with the report.

It's good that you've documented evidence and stopped the sexual harassment she was having against you. Obviously HR knew she was going to cause serious reputation damage to the company. When women accuse men of sexual harassment at work the company's image gets smeared. And the last thing HR wants is drama.
