She really didn't do anything wrong.

She tried to buy something. Yes, she was too young, so it was illegal. She used a fake ID. So what? So did I when I was young. They should have told her no and sent her away. There was no need to call the cops.

Then she snatched the ID out of her hand and ran. It was her property and the cops were going to steal it. They were also likely going to detain her, which they had no right to do.

In Europe I sat with a 13 year old while he drank a beer. I was 21 but I wasn't supposed to be drinking because I was with a church group. 21 is an arbitrary age to allow drinking.

They chased her down and tazed her unnecessarily. They didn't need to do anything at all.
