I have a grown son and a 2 year old grandson. Yesterday he was telling me about my grandson's fascination with the movie The Lion King. Little dude wants to watch it 24/7.

So my son tells me that he and his wife restrict his access to this movie because they don't want him to become a TV junkie... When I asked him why he thought his son was so into this movie, he had no idea. It's around this age when kids start to put things together and become aware of continuity in things instead of life just being a chaotic string of experiences.

So I mentioned that he was likely fascinated because he was getting his first glimpse into a bigger world... he agreed that sounded right.

So then I asked if he was displaying the same level of interest for reading the Iliad, would he restrict his access to that too?

This made sense to him.

But what I was really teaching him was not to listen to his wife's bad advice, because that's where this silly notion that he will become a TV addict because he loves this movie came from.

Why the hell would I want to be a slave?

This decision is kind of taken away from you by the state and society who indoctrinate you from a young age. Its only once the red flags start becoming more and more frequent and thus obvious that you start looking for alternatives and start waking up.

Many people will probably never get to that point of awareness but the resulting shaming, once you do, is real. Most men are simply put loosers when it comes to interacting with the weaker sex because they are buying into the made up story of political correctness and gender equality.

What I think we need to do is to speak the truth. When we speak the truth, without judgment, shame, or anger, MGTOW spreads itself.

No, not explicitly anyway. If I do talk about it, it's going to be wrapped in the person's preconceived notions about the world and his belief state.

As an example, if I want to trash the fact that the dude is being cucked by his gf, I tell him the story of me fucking hookups for cheap in another country, wrapping it in an interesting and entertaining dig about how the transaction works and what the experience is like. This breaks his frame and he is more receptive to new information. I then feed him the idea that if he has a gf for sex, he should just go on vacation with me and I could get him laid for far less than what he is paying to put up with his gf.

All this time, I am never saying that having a gf is bad. I am feeding him the notion that there are better things and better alternatives in the world he could have. He will then come full circle and make his own realizations about what he gave up to have this unhappy relationship.

This is how you convince someone of something they ordinarily will not agree with:

1) unfreeze the mind by breaking his frame with knowledge and humor

2) stick a rational calculation that stems from that knowledge

3) hurt and rescue him so that he begins to think that the alternative you proposed is better than the status quo

4) shut up and let his mind run wild

I love to shoot a bold statement to an acquaintance. recently a bloke I know with several kids says "when are YOU having yours?" (somewhat implying im failing). to which I reply "I dont want any. theres not a single argurment in the world that cant be combated with "whatever dude, we all end up in the ground. live your life". so if you always have that to fall back on you cant really go wrong. speak up.

I guess I'll be the odd man out, and say yes I do, pretty regularly. It's an easy convo to get into. Small talk situation, he has no wedding band, ask if he's married/has kids, he says any kind of stern no, or hell no- he's more than likely already at least one foot on our side. "I read about this MGTOW thing- ever heard of it?"

Never even been debated, much less argued over it. If he's mangina, he'll show it as soon as you ask if he's married.

No, if someone is ready for it they will seek it out themselves and find it. All it takes to get here is 1 single youtube or google search its not exactly a marathon or a bridge too far.

I'm not going to spend even 10 seconds of my life in a potential argument with a chump, a simp, a moron, a "'till death" BPer, a white knight in hiding, or try to convince anyone of anything. The pussy will beat out any logical, rational or legitimate argument you could present to any man, and most don't want to know anyway. Even TRP didn't stay TRP for very long, do not ignore that.

Depends on what you mean; I'll sometimes bash on marriage to my male friends after being sure the water is safe. But I rarely use the acronym. I think it's a functional identifier, but it's not only far less relevant in the real world than the arguments themselves, but also potentially de-railing. For example if I had a friend who I was getting through to about why to avoid marriage and I tell him to look up MGTOW, he'll likely come here and not understand the Red-pill raging of the guys waking up from the shit - and get the wrong impression; that and there is also the problem here that virtually all communities have, the loudest speakers are often not the ones who should be speaking. As for the designation, he will stumble across them and decide how to identify himself if he is interested; doesn't matter to me. So TL;DR. no I generally don't spread anything about MGTOW as a generality, on the rare occasion that that I do try to sway a guy away from marriage I still don't use the acronym anymore.

I was in a restaurant with my brother a couple weeks ago and this poor guy was getting blasted by his gf/wife and he was just silently taking it. I wished then I had a card or something I could slip him in the restroom.

No, because I believe MGTOW must be discovered on your own. The more you push a certain view on someone, the more they are turned off by it. I discovered TRP first, like most, and found MGTOW on my own. That is the only way to do it, in my opinion.

Kind of. I'm in my early 20s. Whenever someone asks me why I don't have a girlfriend or want to clubbing, I explain to them how I think it's a waste of time and money. Also, how bedroom bureaucracy with the 'yes means yes' laws etc. They almost always ask me if I want to get married. To which I explain to them, with examples, how it is bad for men to get married. I find that examples resonate with them, they have had similar experiences but just never put them in words. It's like my Kodak speech so to speak. But I never introduce any acronyms. I presently have two friends my age that know that I am MGTOW, and one more that knows that I must have spent time on TRP just by the way I talk.

I don't know, I'm not full MGTOW. Like, I wouldn't rule out ever marrying a woman, I just rule out marrying 99.9% of women so I'm effectively MGTOW because almost all women in modern western society are garbage. Whenever family is like "when are you going to get married", I say "when I find a woman worthy". They say if you keep waiting for the perfect woman, you'll never get married. I tell them its not worth the risk because 50% of marriages end in divorce, 80% are initiated by women, and the woman will take everything I have and divorce rape me. They just end up saying something like "oh you just hate women." Like, no I don't hate women, I hate most women. Its not my fault the majority of women are garbage people.

There's no need to spread MGTOW. It is a natural reaction to the increasingly hostile environment that men find themselves forced to navigate.

It spreads itself.

Besides, it is an entirely personal thing. How popular MGTOW is has absolutely no bearing on the benefits it provides to the individual, so who cares if it spreads or not?

I've been looked at very strangely for suggesting that men should not get married. I met a 28 year old guy in a party and explained MGTOW to him. It did not go well. He thought I'm weird because clearly, WOMEN are the ones who are suffering. I told him about how 96.4% of alimony payments are to women, not to men. He said, "There ARE cases where it's the opposite, too". This guy works in the financial industry, and is some sort of trader. I thought traders were good at statistics? Blue pill emotions clearly >> knowledge of statistics.

I do it anyway, because I don't care, but if you care about having a social circle. Mainstream folks are incredibly blue pill. It's hard to understand once you're red pill, but trust me : most people don't take kindly to "radical" views such as red pill / MGTOW.

No. Nothing to spread, this is not a religion. The closest I would ever get, and I suspect I am not alone in this, is to discourage men from getting married. If I can save them, I will.
